We coordinate all of the arrangements from your first call to the funeral home through arrangements for burial in the cemetery of your choice. We also have a large selection of merchandise including custom headstones, which are provided at a reasonable rate and can be installed in any local cemetery.

Hunt Irving Funeral Home has a long history as a family known for helping families in the City of Chester and its surrounding areas. The Founders: Lewis M. Hunt Sr. and his wife Naomi Barnes Hunt established, the Lewis M. Hunt Funeral Home at 1424 W. 3rd St, in the City of Chester in 1927.
Lewis M. Hunt, Sr. was the first state-appointed African-American Deputy Coroner and his wife was the first African-American female Deputy Coroner in Delaware County.They faithfully served all of their families with fairly-priced funerals, professional service and commitment to the needs of families during their time of loss.

I had the WORST experience with this Funeral and Crematory business. They got my mothers death certificate wrong and when I went to spread her ashes, they were incompletely processed! I found pieces of teeth, shards of bones the size of my fingers and a piece of her skull the size of a golf ball in the remains! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! 😣😪
