JAQ'S Garage was established in 1982 by Jeffrey Quam, who is still managing and involved with the daily operations today. In the mid 1970s Jeff was employed at the local VW/Audi dealership as a technician. He had first completed a VW technical training course and had worked two years as a technician, cutting his teeth on Beetles and then the "new" Rabbit.
Jeff knew he wouldn't be happy just "fixing" cars for a living. It was interesting work, solving puzzles every day and seeing the fruits of his labor go out the door every day was fulfilling but he didn't care for the fragmented work environment. After some traveling and several other jobs Jeff began to take on car repair jobs for friends and neighbors, working in his driveway in residential Moorhead.

The only place I trust to have work on anything import. They always do top end service, best customer service in the FM area and very reasonable. If you have an issue on price they help you find alternative options. I had a head replacement on my 93 Mitsubishi Eclipse and when I needed it they helped me find a used option.

I have bunch of 1970S VW Bug contraptions. Jeff is the only guy I can find that will work on them. Always fair and stands behind his work. I drive 6 hours one way to bring him my vw junk and they come back running like a top! Love this place

I brought my car in to have an exhaust problem looked at. They identified it, told me it wasn't something they could fix, didn't charge me a dime for the service, and directed me to another shop that was able to help me. Great people. And they have the boldness and integrity to post a large anti-Trump sign right outside their business, unafraid of the potential backlash.

I contacted Jaq's to find out if they could do brakes on my 2014 Range Rover Sport. I brought it in at their request to make sure they could. Not only were they able to do the work, but their price was more reasonable than the dealership. Due to an impending blizzard I brought the Rover in one day before my appointment, and they got it done before the storm hit. Matt was great to work with and everyone there is very friendly. I'll definitely be back for future needs.

JAG Garage are exceptional in their work. They provide evident rationale for work done on your car, also, parts replacement, and charges. They are extraordinarily transparent and experts in the brand of cars they handle. They fixed my jalopy - Honda Civic 2000 - and it runs brand new and at reasonable cost. When I took it back for service after several months, they inspected it and said everything done on the car, earlier, was still perfect and charged me no dime for the inspection that lasted over half an hour. Kudos buddies!
