Faries Funeral Home, located in historic Smyrna, Delaware has been recently renovated and expanded and is the areas largest and most modern funeral establishment including a state of the art beautifully decorated funeral chapel with a seating capacity of over 250 persons.The remodeled funeral home also features two large exquisite stained glass windows, and two large welcoming reception areas.

We are now in our 7th generation of business and are listed as the 7th oldest funeral home in the nation by American Family Business Magazine.

When a loved one dies at home or in a place that isn't a healthcare facility, you'll need to contact emergency personnel before they can be taken into our care.If your loved one was under medical care, it's a good idea to call their physician as well. If your loved one dies in a healthcare facility, they will notify the proper authorities, including the funeral home you have chosen to care for your loved one if they know that information.

Rob and the staff at Faries did an amazing job for our mother's funeral. They were so kind and incredibly helpful every step along the way. Even though this was one of the hardest times in our life, having our mother pass so suddenly, we are so grateful for the service they provided and the way Rob made planning her funeral as easy as possible. It was a lovely service and everything was exactly as we requested.

Rob has been incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout this entire process. A process which is never easy or fun to go through, but Rob made it as smooth as possible. First Class Service.
They did a tremendous job of making a very difficult process as easy as it possibly can be. We threw curve balls at them unintentionally due to our circumstances and they were gracious and accommodating. While I happen to know they had a very busy weekend when we were there, they made us feel like we were their only customer. Our Family cannot recommend Faries enough. Great people who understand what you are going through and go above and beyond for you. Hope to not have to do business again for a long time :)
