Pita: great
Tabouli great
Lentil soup: good flavor... but watery
Babaganoush:. Appreciate the Smokey undertone but needed some garlic ...or something
Hummus: disappointing
Stuffed grape leaves: good flavor
Falafel hard as a rock , very dry, good flavor
Tsadziki great!
Spanikopita- Whole Foods frozen is better
Lots of variety ...which is reflected in the high price
I might go back but i wouldn't order this "hit-or-miss" dish again.

A friend that I grew up with here in Denver came into town for a visit. Many years ago him and I used to frequent some of the best Greek restaurants in Denver. Because most of those restaurants no longer exist, and we were in the Boulder area anyway, by buddy, my girlfriend and I decided to give Kalita Grill a try.

The veggie combo plate was amazing! The salad was very fresh and crisp, the falafels were crispy and soft, the babaganoush and hummus were soo creamy and fresh! The pita bread was cold, but it was soo soft. The baklava was amazing, with all the sugar syrup and nuts. What amazed me was how fresh the ingredients were, this is a must in any restaurant. The portion size is well worth the price. This will become my go to!

Fantastic! I got a combo platter that was delicious - everything - the chicken, pita, hummus, gyro meat, rice - all of it was truly perfect. The chicken was incredibly tender and perfectly spiced. I got my order to go, but was so impressed I went back after I ate to let them know how good it was. I don't typically bother to leave reviews, but this place deserves the 5 stars!

So unbelievably tasty. The hummus is so good, the pitas are fluffy clouds and the shawarma seasoned to perfection. Great selection of cold nonalcoholic beverages. Wanted to leave a better pic but smelling this baby all the way home, I lost my self control. So I present, all that I couldn’t finish in photo form.

This place is a gem. Family owned and run. Everything is made fresh. I had a Greek Gyro Salad (photo included) and a side of falafel. Both were incredible! Probably the best falafel I've had in a very long time. The Greek salad filled the plate and was full of tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, and an abundance of gyro meat. Served with a side of tzatziki and Greek dressing. The rest of my family had traditional gyros with feta (the feta was excellent!) Everyone enjoyed it tremendously. Definitely recommend!!!

Kalita Grill Greek Cafe is the spot for the most authentic Greek dishes, owned by an impressive team of Greek background!! The owner totally rescued our original plans for lunch AND was incredibly patient with my diet restrictions. I was uncertain what to order; I didn't feel confident after the other spot, completely left us hanging!! Kalita Grill Greek Cafe, was located in the same shopping center as the other restaurant that left us at "less than desirable!" Kalita was memorable and a good ending to our day. I paid for two chicken and gyros plates. We also got a side and drinks, came to $41 with tip. The food was pretty good. The thing was my wife got tzatziki sauce with her order (small plastic cup) but I did not. When I asked for some tzatziki sauce, they told me I would have to pay 99 cents extra ($1.08 with tax). I asked why would I have to pay for tzatziki sauce when I paid for gyros and my plate came with none; everyone else in the restaurant got tzatziki sauce with their gyros but I was told my chicken had some sauce with it and therefor I don't get tzatiki sauce. I ordered takeout through Yelp Delivery and the food arrived 10 min before the estimated time. Score! I had been craving a Shawarma and Kalita did not disappoint. The beef was flavorful, the ingredients fresh. Very good shawarma. I also ordered one skewer of lamb meat (full of flavor) and the greek fries that were seasoned with feta and garlic (it was wonderful). Everything was cooked very well and I will definitely be coming back!

If you like high quality food with the freshest ingredients - this is your place! The first thing that catches your eye when you walk in is the interior, which is authentic and creates a cozy atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing. Tzatziki was a perfection and trust me I have had many Tzatzikis in my life. 😂 Definitely try the beet hummus. Meat was very well marinated and tasted amazing. Overall, I was very impressed and will definitely be coming back again.
