Bulverde Assisted Living was founded by Drs. Keith and Donna Markey, longtime Bulverde residents with a combined medical experience of over 60 years. Both are combat veterans and both have great affection for the Hill Country's growing senior community and for those with special needs. The facility is warm and welcoming and the residents love calling it home.
We are medical professionals, chefs, activities specialists, and more, and we've dedicated our lives to caring for others. At Bulverde Assisted Living, we focus on you, offering 24-hour assistance with daily needs, activities, meals, and wellness. We understand that we aren't just an assisted living facility; we are home to each of our residents and we want it to feel that way.
For your convenience, we offer regular wellness checks at no additional cost. Catching medical problems early on can help you take preventative measures to protect your health. We are here to guide and consult you on your medical care. Our wellness check will give you peace of mind. We offer activities designed around you and your abilities!
Bulverde Assisted Living offers activities designed around you and your abilities! An active mind is a healthy mind. Engaging activities include book discussions, movies, gardening clubs, daily exercise classes, games, group outings, and art workshops. Some of our residents are artists and musicians.
We have two different floor plan options to fit your needs and comforts. Our studio design is easily maintainable. We also offer one-bedroom designs to give additional space. Each floor plan can be decorated as they wish, allowing them to make it their home. For their convenience, emergency call buttons/cords are located in key locations for quick assistance.

I been a worker for Bulverde Assisted Living And its really a great honor to work with such great people. I love coming to work everymorning knowing you are making an impact in others lifes. I enjoy my coworkers our superiors are always there to guide us and there is always room for knowledge and growth. They always take care of me and its a privilege to work with such an awsome team. I always encourage anyone to stop by and say hello or become one of our amazing volunteers!!!!

Beautiful views of the hill country on a site with majestic oaks. The facility is warm and welcoming and the residents love calling it home. Exceptional staff, caring from the heart. If you are looking for a loved one make sure and stop by for a tour. Culinary team knows that good care just isn't the physical type it involves smells and taste.
