Dr Vincent A. Rauschel received his Doctor of medical Dentistry degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2000. Due to his outstanding scholarship he was allowed to graduate one semester early and was awarded an externship with one of the clinical directors at the dental school.

Love this office and the staff. My kids and I have been going to Sierra for 16 years and they are family to me. I can't even count the number of times we've gone. A few years back, my teenager got his two front teeth knocked out. I sent them a picture right away, even before we got there and they called the oral surgeon, set up the appointment, sent my son's dental records all in a matter of minutes. We bypassed the dental office and went straight to surgeon. Sierra guided us through the rest of the process seamlessly over the next few months.

It was the day before Thanksgiving. My temporary crown fell out during dinner. This was my upper front tooth. Not a pretty sight. We had13 guests coming for Thanksgiving dinner. The dental office I call home was leaving early for the holiday weekend. I call and tell them of my sob story and they say to get to their office as soon as safely as possible. I called this practice to make an appointment for my granddaughter. I explained that she was in pain and they assured me they would take care of this. I was assured she would be taken care of and they would not leave without help. They just showed her the door and refused to help her. If you need a dentist, don't go to this practice they will not help you.

I'm glad "family" is in their name because I feel like family when I visit. This is the most thorough dentist I have been to in my 45 years! I was told by another office I needed a crown on a tooth and Dr Vincent disagreed. They are not just trying to have you pay for unnecessary dental work. It's refreshing. I'll be back to visit for life. 5 stars!

Unethical. Here's why. I had an appointment for a cleaning and exam. Prior to my appointment I emailed them, told them I was a cash patient, and asked what the charge would be. They responded: "Depending on x-rays that might be needed, the charges will be approx $130-$170."
I did not have any x-rays or any other upsells. Just the cleaning and exam.
They charged me $172, an amount higher than the highest amount they quoted even though I didn't have anything other than just the cleaning and exam.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! My husband & I have been going to Sierra Family Dentistry for over 11 years. Even though we don't live in Chandler anymore, we make the drive because their practice & staff are hands down the best. Dr. Rauschel and his assistants are the most friendly & upbeat people to be around! Ashley Dages especially, is amazing to work with. Her professionalism, knowledge and genuine care is unbeatable! We wouldn't let anyone else be our dentist!

I've been using this dental office for several years, even after we moved 2 hours away, I still drive all that way to get my cleaning done by Ashley, she is the best, I will not trade her for anyone, she is very gentle on my teeth, she knows I have very sensitive teeth so she takes a great care of me.

DO NOT GO HERE. I've been to many dentist offices in my lifetime and this is by far the WORST. I saw an ad in the mail for free whitening for life so I thought I would give them a try. First of all, they did a fluoride treatment on me without my permission then charged me $35 for it at the end of my appointment. Second, they told me I had three cavities which was odd because I have never had that many cavities before. I went to another dentist to get a second opinion and they told me I had ZERO cavities and that my gums and teeth were completely healthy. This place needs to be shut down. I

I've been coming here for about 3 years now. The staff of always very pleasant. The Dr takes his time and is very helpful when explaining issues, concerns or recommendations. My hygienist Ashely is very nice and thorough. I would definitely refer anyone to this office. I've relocated out of the area but will still travel the distance to come here. They make you feel very comfortable and not rushed. Sometimes the Dr will mention something from my previous appointment, like how I need extra numbing... Just goes to show I'm patient not a number. Great office!

I will never recommend this dr office to anyone, I went for my dental crown and was quoted 900$ which I paid upfront, after fixing crown, their office ask me another $700 and told me that some part of service not covered by insurance. I denied to pay that amount as I clearly smell something fishy and fought with them. And after all that drama, lady from office called me and told me that it's error from their billing department. It's good thing that I haven't paid 700$ otherwise people from this office notorious to charge you unnecessarily. I don't want to go to this office but

I have had the most difficult time in finding a good dentist, up until I went to Sierra Family Dentistry. I am still in awe at their excellent service. I was referred to this dentist from an oral surgeon. I called to make an appointment as a first-time visit and they fit me in for the very next day. They were very helpful and kind over the phone. They even said that they would waive the cost of my xrays since I was a first-time patient.

Loved the dentist, my issue is with their finance department. They want the work so bad that they quoted me an amount while we were there and said they could do it right now. I said you already got approval from my insurance? They said yes, I was quoted a little over $200. Then about 6 monthes later I got a bill for over $600 more! They said they get an initial approval of the coverage so they can provide a quote but it is not a guarantee. That's great that this is explained after they've completed the work and not before they start....For them!!!!

They were very nice and professional but the cleaning was especially rough and my teeth still hurt a day later. I was also sprayed with the water there multiple times. I gave them a couple stars for being pleasant but this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a dentists office ever. Very disappointing.

One of my best finds in Arizona was Sierra Family Denistry after I found the dental office across the street from them to be sub-par. Dr. Rauschel and his staff are awesome, caring, fun & professional people - we love them. My husband and I have gotten excellent dental care there, including crowns and extractions, and every experience has been pleasant. Definitely give them a try if you're looking for a dentist in the East Valley!
