This place is a disorganized mess. An absolute disgrace to the native culture. Called over the phone to make sure prescription was ready to be picked up. Had a very important day at work the next day. In order to arrive before pharmacy closes I have to leave work really early.
Arrive only to be told I can't pick it up today have to come back tomorrow. I even waited to make absolutely sure I could pick it up while on the phone.
This place just doesn't care about their Patients or honoring their word. With the exception of Gabby in the behavior health department. She's awesome. I

I took my daughter in today for her cleaning, and love the fact that the back staff were great. Front desk needs some help. The hygiene assistant greeted us with care, in totally different attitude they need to learn be more like this assistant who took us back. (Sadly she didn't stay in the room with us during the cleaning) but She made sure my daughter was comfortable, giving her options choices for her tooth pastes, toothbrush, color made us really comfortable. We hope to see her next time when we go back in a few months. We made out next Appointment before leaving and I asked our hygienist

I have been seen at this clinic since about 2017 for medical, physical therapy, pharmacy, and dental appointments. I do see a number of old posts with negative commentary, and have heard similar stories during those years. There have been many positive changes to the organization itself and staffing since 2017 to present. Communications have improved greatly and you can opt for texts to inform you of ready prescriptions and upcoming appointments. The staff has always been polite and respectful, and I am not a tribal member. I have a great deal of respect for Paul, the physical therapist, for the

Difficult to understand how some who visit the wellness center have experienced such unpleasantness. Whether by phone or,in the flesh, all rank and file members there that ive ever come in contact with have been nothing but courteous, respectul, promp and caring individuals. Sorry to have learned of such unpleasant experiences. I trust there is place for everyone in this world and that the chosen few are blessed in their quest for any comfort they might seek elsewhere. All my respect.

Stay far away from this "health" centre. Staff are rude and uncaring, from administration through doctors. Doctors are only given 20 minutes to see patients. They allow ten to write their notes. That leaves you ten minutes with a doctor who walks out half way though and then forgets why you are even there. This time limit was courtesy of Dr Moizeau, who was the second "professional" we had seen. The first literally walked out in the middle of an appointment and never came back.
If you are five minutes late, you will not be seen. This seems harsh, but makes sense for a busy

Nothing but positive experience all the way around. New to El Dorado County and needed to see a Dr with my medications dwindling. Assistant told me to come in and fill out paperwork. I did and was given an appointment the following week. Saw PA Johanna K and she was thorough, understanding, and very knowledgeable. Also great demeanor and professional bedside manner. Few times I've talked to phone assistants I have been met with cordial and friendly staff. Very pleased with SSTH.
Addition: I have now been a patient with Shingle Springs Health and Wellness for the last 7 months since moving to Placerville

Horrible experience. I made an appt to get a loose filling on a molar checked out,. However, a completely different service was scheduled that I did not agree too. I have some staining on the crevice of a back molar which I have had forever and this particular. dentist told me he wanted to take caution and remove what he believed to be cavities on multiple three sides of my perfectly good molar. I asked him if it showed up on the X-Ray as a cavity and he said no, nor was it sticky, but he talked me I tk being cautious and did not listen to me what I said I did not want it done. I finally agreed

There are good and bad doctors and dentists. I have had both. But I will not go back to the dental. Most of the front desk people are rude and one of the dentists was beyond rude. And to come demand payment while in the middle of procedure shocked me. I paid cash always as soon as I was done. So why they did that I do not know. Needless to say I do not go there anymore. As for medical . Its hit and miss with the doctors. I now have Dr. Kay and she is a wonderful doctor. But they don't stay long. The front desk in medical has gotten better. They got a male receptionist now and he is courteous and

I am a native American and was referred by my clinic for a dental consultation . I have had nothing but poor communication and customer service since January. Today being the worst and I could not keep my mouth shut. All except 1 receptionist is rude and abrasive weather in person or on the phone. They do not clearly communicate . I am still trying to have my needs met and treatment plan to determined and this started in November 2016 when they scheduled my first appointment for January. My recommendation is not positive.

I've been going to Shingle Springs health and wellness for about three years. I always find the front office staff and nurses to be aloof and uncaring. This isn't unusual in today's state of health care but the level that they achieve is rather remarkable. Whenever I call or go in there I feel like I'm doing something wrong. Like there's some secret code I'm not following. Yesterday I came in with multiple issues, 4 to be exact. I felt that they all might have been connected and therefore relevant to the state of my health. This office should tell their patients they

You'd have to be half crazy to go to this place and I'm basing this on their registration form. They want way too much personal information that I would only give to the government. REALLY.... They want your mother's maiden name, fathers name, SS#, family income, and more. Then on top of it they ask you to fax or mail all of your PRIVATE information to them before even giving you an appointment. I say "RED FLAG". Who in their right mind would give this kind of information to any establishment besides one that is by the government. By law, you absolutely do not have to

A lot of members from my family fo this center therfore i schedule an appointment. My first time i was sitting for 30 min pass my appointment time which is normal and understandable, but today when i went to this place for follow up visit they turned my appointment down because i was 5 minutes late. I drove all the way from sacramenro to this center. I came out of my car at 8.20am and by the time i went up stairs it was 8.23ish. I stood by the sign where it said wait and watched ladies talk for good couple minutes. By the time they got me it was 8.24 and she said i am late. I asked her what do

I have to say that this has been the worst dentist i've ever had. I stopped going there for years. Then I thought "maybe it's me" and went back, but no...it's him. I liked my doctor though. Also when the clinic was moved to the new place by the casino it seemed like nobody that worked there was happy anymore. Before you could go there and the mood was great! Everyone was smiling and I actually enjoyed going there but the dentist is lacking not the department . I'm still having problems but can't get myself to go back!

I've been going to tribal health for years now. My children go there and they take their children there. My oldest son had braces put on when he was 12 and he's 33 now and still has perfect teeth. Dr Pheonix did a wonderful job. I haven't had much to complain about other than the rudeness of the reception staff and some of the wait times are ridiculous.

I have been going to Tribal Health since I could remember and I love the dental department.
The Medical on the other hand isn't all that great. I like my doctor, but the receptionist is horrible. When I went in for my depo (it was a walk in) I sat there for two hours and then was told that they "forgot" I was there. I'm not too hard to miss, I have pink hair for crying out loud. I then went in the other day and the receptionist treated me like less than a person. She wouldn't even look at me while I was talking to her. She told me they stopped doing walk ins for depo

Very nice clinic, BUT probably the rudest staff I've encountered, anywhere, ever.
I am Native American and I use this clinic for medical and dental services because I live fairly close. The girls in the medical department reception are the worst, but I've encountered a terribly rude Dr too. The reception girls act as if everyone walking through the door is bothering them. They never greet people, instead they sit behind glass windows and refuse to acknowledge them until they have to, making people feel uncomfortable.
They manage to create a vibe much like the DMV. After numerous visits
