I'm new to The Quad, but I'm already thoroughly impressed with the place! Meghan, the trainer with whom I met for my assessment, is cheerful, professional, extremely competent, and down to earth. The vibe is easygoing and very positive. I'm no spring chicken, but I wasn't made to feel self-conscious about my age or fitness level in any way! Looking forward to my fitness journey with this group. I'm sure I'll be posting more positive reviews as we progress together!

I have been fortunate enough to work with both Michael and Meghan on my fitness and overall body health journey. I first came to them for help a year after my 3rd baby. My core muscles were very stretched and weak. Michael’s evaluation of my posture and gait were incredibly thorough. I got to meet Meghan and Mike a couple years ago and work with Mike as a fitness coach. He identified many imbalances in my body that I had been told by others before as well as Found new ones I had no idea about. I came hear 6 mos ago because I won a silent auction. Not sure of what I was getting into but thought I would try it. I was massively out of shape and over weight. Since our 15 year old son has not been able to play school sports during the pandemic, we turned to one on one personal training with Jenn at The Quad.
Our son went 3 times per week for one month and he is in the best shape of his life! We've had other trainers but no comparison

I have been working with Michael for over 5 years. I have been very impressed with not only the quality of the training, but the effort that he takes to research if I am having a particular physical challenge, or need work in a specific area. Every workout/training is customized to my unique needs and goals. We do regular assessments and adjust based on the results.

I have worked with a number of trainers over the years but Michael is the best. His attention to the core and understanding of the body is second to none. I have a bad back so this is really important to me. Michael has now enabled me to get to a point where I feel great and fully functional (in light of my back). I highly recommend KrickFit.

I have been training with Michael Krick for 8 years. In that time he has set training programs designed specifically for me. I am more fit, sleep better, have less stress and more energy. I try to see him at his studio once a week and he goes over my entire routine and checks that my form is correct. Let me tell you about myself, and why I came to Michael Krick. I have always enjoyed working out, but on my own terms (hiking, surfing, stand up paddling, cycling, soccer, etc). But over the last 10 years, leading into my late 30's, I have been injured (broken L collarbone, broken L wrist, broken LH knuckles, nerve entrapment L, destroyed tendon in L elbow); my left side has gotten clearly weaker than my right.

Somehow in my late 30s I found myself over-scheduled, seriously under-active, and unhappy with my body and state of mind. After trying several gyms in the city, but finding them overcrowded and intimidating, I finally stumbled upon Michael Krick. I have been under his care for about 9 months and guess what? EVERYTHING IS CHANGING FOR THE BETTER! I have been training with Michael for 9 months now, and it's been intense, but a good kind of intensity. He has encouraged me to try new exercises, most of which were not part of the regular "gym routine". Furthermore, he has taught me that achieving goals doesn't mean focusing solely on one part of the body, but on the body as a whole. He doesn't stop at giving advice on personal training, but also recommends ideas regarding nutrition and healthy living.

Having worked with a few different trainers and gone to a number of boot camps and classes, Michael is definitely one of the best trainers I have worked with. He has an integrative approach to training that includes nutrition, sleep schedule, recovery from injuries, preventative work, strength, flexibility, cardio, and high intensity workouts. I've always hated working out - but I don't feel that way working with Michael! We meet one on one outside - he is smart and has a plan - remembers my injuries or weak areas and before I know it the hour is over! The results after 6 months with him are good enough that I want to keep going...he motivates in just the right way - I feel healthy, slimmer, stronger and we have fun. If you are looking for a personal trainer I highly recommend.

He finds the balance between pushing you hard and burning you out / getting injured.
He really cares about you maintaining a healthy life style and goes the extra mile to ensure it happens. When I am traveling we facetime. He makes sure I get out outside of our sessions.
