Kobussen Buses

In 1938, Elwood Kobussen aka "Grandpa Goldie, " a dairy farmer and trucker by trade, was chosen by the Kaukauna Board of Education to transport out-of-town students to and from the Kaukauna High School. Kaukauna Bus Service Incorporated was born that year and started with red, white and blue buses.

Student transportation to and from school and events is an important part of our education system. For over 80 years Kobussen Buses has prided itself on providing safe reliable school bus transportation. Over the years we have expanded into different types of buses and into more districts in Wisconsin.

I just wanted to let you know that Wayne is an excellent driver! He knew exactly where he was going and which building at each of the campuses that we needed to be dropped off at. It was so helpful. Hopefully he will drive our group again!

We have safely and expertly transported you and your collegiate students to and from: camps for team building and fun; exhibitions of human interest and local talents; shows from Broadway to Local thespian productions; concerts by world renowned musicians to local artists; tourist attractions seeing the beauty of nature in the Dells to riding roller coasters; historical sites seeing reenactments or recreating the historical event; recreational trips like skiing the many area hills locally or further away; exploring fossils in quarries to visiting the sewage treatment plants; sports events or games throughout the country; educational venues like museums, aquariums, art centers, institutes, and planetariums; and shuttling from one campus to another.

A shuttle bus service operated by Kobussen Buses is available from the Alliant Energy Center to Camp Randall Stadium for football, wrestling and boy's basketball. The pick up and drop off point at the Alliant Energy Center is near Barn 4 on Fairgrounds Drive. On-site signage will direct you to the appropriate lot.

We have safely and expertly transported congregation members of all ages throughout the United States and Canada!. We have taken the children - youth - teenagers - adults - and elders to: spiritual leadership conferences; mission trips to share their blessings; fellowship building retreats; camps to celebrate with other believers; family and group activities - skiing, bowling, performances, concerts, shows and gatherings.
