Momentum is a band on the move. This talented group can move you from Smooth Jazz to R&B, R&B to Jazz Funk to Top 40 songs without you loosing your groove. The musicians in this group are multi-talented and bring diverse influences that contribute to the group's sound. Although the name of the group is fairly new, the members have been together for a while.
I was born in 1953 on the island of Trinidad and Tobago and grew up in a family of music. My father was a musician which influenced me intensely. At the age of 11, I sang in the church choir and my father taught me basic fundamentals of music which established my musical foundation. At the age of 14, I started playing the guitar and six months later was playing well enough to join the church band.
