Our practice specializes in medical treatments that address a variety of skin conditions. This includes but is not limited to treatment of acne, rashes, and skin cancer screening. We also perform skin surgery to remove skin cancers and some benign growths such a skin tags, cysts, and moles. We also provide minimally invasive treatments to help you look your very best such as Botox, Dysport, and injectable fillers including Restylane and JuveDerm.

Dr. Maher, Monica, and the amazing office staff made our first visit to the Dermatology Center of Denton wonderful!
My father recently started seeing her for his psoriasis, and he referred them to me because he had great results after his first visit (he had seen another local dermatologist for years with little to no results). Both of my children (ages 4 and 7) have terrible eczema that we couldn't kick at home. Dr. Maher was so great with them and made them feel super comfortable. She placed a prescription at our local pharmacy, and we were set to go! However, there was a hiccup at the pharmacy

I was specifically referred to this clinic by another doctor for help in treating my scalp/hairloss issue. I called the front desk to ask about it this morning and the secretary/whoever answered the phone was kind of rude and curt with me. She said 'Well no one here treats that' in an unhelpful tone like I was inconveniencing them. Dr. Nezafati has been my dermatologist now for over 3 years. Alone, I would give him 5 stars; however I was prevented from getting an examination room assignment by the front office’s execution of their current COVID protocol. DcDenton’s current protocol states “the mask must NOT have vents or valves” I am asking that you revise your protocol to read “the mask must not have unfiltered vents or valves.”

Are you kidding me?? New patient can be scheduled but you have to wait 6 months!!! The reason I want to schedule is I have a rash now! Decided to check what if you are not a new patient and get a rash? Was told you are put on a cancellation list and might see a doctor in a week or two! Is this the new direction of medical care??? Dr Nezafati and his nurses are great. They are very friendly and thorough. However, the front receptionists are awful! They barely speak and are not friendly. Any time I have had to call in, they are short and just plain rude. Beverly checked me out. She did not greet me or smile and acted like it killed her to have to schedule my next appointment. I walked up to counter she just told me what I owed. No "please or thank you". It's too bad that the receptionists are the first and last impression of this office. If I didn't like the dr so much, I would not go back.
