I wholeheartedly recommend California Detailing. They removed some serious hard water spots from my car and did an excellent job applying a clear coat. The entire car looks as if it is encased in glass. I want to note that after the initial work we discovered a flaw that was no problem. They happily repaired it at no additional cost. It's rare to find a company that stands by its work like California Detailing.

As I’m sure a lot of you know, finding a good detailer can be one of the hardest things (even more than finding a good mechanic with decent rates). Also, having a background in the industry myself, I took my time to find a detailer that I could trust. I brought in my red ‘92 Mazda Miata for a full paint correction and ceramic pro gold package (which has quite a difficult paint to work with, may I add). Carlos is as friendly and professional as I remembered since my last visit (December 2019; went with a basic detailing). Though I had a $25 coupon to use from Yelp (for the Complete Retail package this time (May 2021), as the coupon was only applicable to this specific service), I chose not to use it after seeing the care his team gave my Model 3. Though slightly pricier than a few competitors farther out in the Bay Area, I'll happily pay for the trust and piece of mind; the service provided is worthy the 5-star Yelp rating. Absolutely amazing work. Jim and Carlos are the best. You can tell they take pride in their work. Highly recommend. The pricing was fair, and Jim was happy to take the time to talk things through over the phone to help me decide which level of protection was best for my Model Y. I ended up going with the Silver Package ceramic coating (5 year protection), and the car looks amazing.

These guys are great! I took my 2012 Triumph Thruxton (motorcycle) in, which probably hadn't had a good cleaning in 3-4 years and they made it look brand new again. The rims were shiny, the paint was waxed beautifully, and they were able to remove surface rust from the chrome. I will definitely be back!

Let's be honest for a moment. Taking your vehicle to a quality detailing shop is not regular maintenance, and not likely something you would consider unless you care about it more than the average driver. Should you get your car ceramic coated? YES! This shop does an excellent job, and the staff was extremely helpful. Jim on the phone answered all my questions and the cost of 1k seemed reasonable for the amount of work they put into my car. The coating they laid looks super shinny. It's a completely even coat and there are no areas that look gloppy. Overall, really high quality work.
My only complaint is they don't take credit card, because for some people it could be a challenge to fork out 1k in cash when they have other bills.

Excellent detailing!! They take really good care of your car. I dropped off my Porsche Macan and it came back like new. They had other nice cars like BMW, Mercedes and Land Rovers.
I had these orange stains (from tree sap / leaves) that I couldn't wash out, but they were able to get it out! Highly recommend!
