Dr. Merchant was born and raised in Southern California. He attended UC Irvine for his undergraduate studies, and graduated with honors with a Bachelor's in Biology. He later earned his DDS from the UCLA School of Dentistry. Doctor Merchant's interests in dentistry include minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and implants.

My family and I have been coming to Southridge Dental for about 10 years now. It’s hard to find a good honest dentist and here they are exactly that. Everyone makes you feel like family and they are very gentle while working on your teeth. Prices of the dental work really does depend on your insurance however I do feel that they have always been fair.

OMG!!! The dental hygienist alone is worth coming back for!!! So gentle and quick with the teeth cleaning! I no longer dread or put off going anymore. 👍And everyone else from the welcome desk to the dentist are friendly and super helpful!!! 🤗I dont feel like a dollar sign, they make me feel like they care about 'me'!!

I would 100% recommend this place to family and friends. I had a toothache and didn’t know of a dentist that would see me instantly. The staff and dentist worked with me and were able to assist me when I called them. After the x-rays, the dentist throughly explained the diagnosis for my treatment. Very kind and welcoming staff, my highest recommendation!
