We had quite the experience staying here. First we contacted the park manager after hours through the website asking about last minute availability. She offered to open the office and check us in around 8pm well past closing time. We stayed in a cabin which was very beautiful and well maintained. Unfortunately in the middle of the night the gas alarm went off and we had to leave the cabin and called the fire department because we couldn’t get ahold of any one in the campground it was about 11:30pm though. They called it a faulty alarm after checking the whole area with a meter but they turned

I rented a cabin for two days and had a wonderful time. We needed to find a place to attend a family members ceremony in town and this was a perfect spot to stay. The pool is beautiful and clean. There is also a sandbox, games, ping pong tables right next to the pool for the kids as well. The staff is extremely nice and helpful with any questions. We also brought our dog and stayed in a "dog friendly" which was perfect. It had 2 bowls set up for the dog. The entire cabin was absolutely beautiful and we'll maintained. The best cabin I've ever stayed in, will definitely be back once the rest of the

We had a great time. The staff is so friendly and very sweet. They take great care of there campers and camp sites. There was plenty of things to do to keep the grandson busy. We can't wait to see how it looks when they finish the new camp sites. Plan to come back again.

Nice quiet campground. Not too much in the way of traffic or noise. Nice pool area with a zero entry pool and a slide. The only draw back is the entire park is dirt/rock. It can be dusty at times. The sites are kind of level in the main area and the back area has more taper towards the rear. You might end up with your tongue on the ground and the rear stabilizers maxed out. Staff is courteous and friendly. Nice park near the NC Zoo.

My first time here, stayed for week in a pull-thru. Staff were nice and place was quiet. This park is not meant for long stays, maybe one or two nights. The gravel road here throws up a lot of dust no matter how slow you go (rig and car will need a wash after visit here). Nothing is paved here. Also, bike trails that go deep in the woods were not cleared and had over grown weeds. Sites are decent size and driving in park is fine (other than dust and mud). Pool was not that big as the pictures portray on the website. Wifi here was not suitable for remote work but we were saved by our Verizon hotspot

We knew before coming that this campground is a work in progress. In years to come there will be more than enough to do. The pool was the big draw for my family and it did not disappoint! The slide is awesome and the various areas of the pool give groups/families nice spaces to float around. The staff is very nice and work hard to get to know you by name, especially your children. We enjoyed the bubble cannon, jump pillow, visiting with Yogi, crafts, ping pong, bean bag toss, laser tag, and relatively scenic surroundings. The ranger station is accommodating for various needs like snacks, propane

Can’t say enough about this campground. It’s growing and expanding. Very kid friendly. Staff is amazing- sweet, hardworking, and these guys make a point of learning these kids names and calling out to them in passing. I cannot tell you how much it means when a staff member yells out something uniquely personal to each kid during the games. Daily crafts, pool games, bike riding trails, bouncy pillow- lots to keep the kids happy. While this place is under some construction, that is completely okay because you can tell when speaking with them how excited they are about watching each stage come

Terrible experience. The staff was extremely rude and insensitive. My family booked a stay in what we thought were “dog friendly” cabins. It was communicated and confirmed by my family and the staff over and over again that we would be bringing our dog and that we had booked “dog friendly” cabins. We get to check in, with our dog, and have a decent afternoon, only to be kicked out of the cabin at 10pm for having our dog in a “no pets allowed” cabin. Seriously? We were not allowed to stay the night, even though this was a mistake from the management by booking us in the wrong cabin.

I visited with my family at a recommendation of a friend. This is awesome. I recommend reserving a golf cart as well, if you plan on doing the giant trails around the campground, get the one with monster tires. It is very kid friendly. The bathrooms are very clean and are a family style bathroom, where all members can go into one bathroom. The pool was fantastic and clean. I will definitively go there again. The tent spots have 3 outlets each, with separate breakers. They are also large enough that 2 of our 10 person tents fit fine with plenty of room for the fire.
There is a fire ring with a

This place was probably one of the best places to go camping with the family...why not 5 stars then? I'll explain why...its still being built!!! I cannot wait to see the finished product! The pool was perfect, loved the lights at night and the kids had a blast with the slide. The laser tag park when that gets up and running will be epic. The sandbags, mortars, bombs, takes me back. The cabins...awesome. you just need to have your food, clothes and drinks...amenities are included. They even have dog bowls for the pet. The kids had an a solute blast in the loft area to sleep. Wish we had a TV

Celebrated my birthday here and it was amazing. The cabin was super adorable and super clean. Due to Covid, I was prepared to clean up myself but no need because it was immaculate. The grounds were clean as well. For camping, I was pleasantly surprised at all of the activities provided like the playground, jump pillow, and the pool (all well maintained). My family and I also enjoyed the hiking trails which are all over the camp grounds. We will definitely be back and I recommend as a great experience!

Very nice, quite campground. The property is large but definitely not overcrowded at all. That may change in the future with the planned additions, but it was very peaceful while we were here. I do wish the fishing pond was a little more stocked as catching fish were few and far between. My kids loved it and we will definitely be back.

We were frequent campers at the Larkspur Jellystone in Colorado and have also visited the Jellystone in Millbrook, IL. We had such amazing trips to these locations that I was thrilled when I heard a Jellystone was opening in Asheboro less than an hour from where we live. This Jellystone was an incredible disappointment. Although we booked knowing it was not completely finished it is much more primitive than we were lead to believe. It is co- owned by 2 families with 4 children each. These children were incredibly rude and disrespectful to my family during the trip. During the morning " win

This is a fairly new 100 plus acre RV campsite with lots of wonderful things planned such as; pool, quad site, premium water view sites, bath house, frisbee golf, and much more. Currently there are 16 full hook up sites that are very level and roomy and a plan for over 100 more in the by 2017-2018. At this time there is no cable tv but plenty of antenna tv choices however they do have wifi.
The staff could not be any friendlier or helpful. We are first time RV's and they were there during our first set up to answer any questions we might have.
The Ranger's house is under construction
