This place is amazing. Jeff and his family are amazing. They have been helpful, polite and genuinely happy about our stay. I live in my RV full time and would recommend this place to anyone.
If you're a good neighbor, not running around being a drunk, being loud, or obnoxious this this is perfect. They do not have a lot of rules but their main rule is just be a good neighbor.
There are families, trades workers and retirees on site. So this park really is for anyone. Anyone that is a good neighbor.

Stayed 5 nights. It was ok. Our campsite had a lot of debris. Our fire ring was full of trash. We had water, electric and sewer...all worked fine. No showers or restrooms. There was a washer and dryer for laundry. Wifi was ok and worked most of the time.
Most spots are long term renters. Cute kids next to us with a bunny hutch. Crazy loud donkey braying at all hours of the day and night.

It's a quiet very small campground. The spaces were small but doable for our 38ft Class A. There are a number of long term campers on site.

I would spend most of the summer there as a kid. It has closed down for prospecting but the new owner is friendly and works hard to keep the place up and nice. Sure wished they still allowed people to prospect. It's hard to find good places to go today's time.

Contacted this place for pricing information, no answer so I left a message. I called again later (as I usually do when seeking out a place). Thought I got the voicemail so I hung up. Figured they would call me back when they could. The woman called me back with attitude and I told her I was sorry I thought it was a voicemail again she said "I came across the house to answer the phone and you hung up on me". I continued with my question just ignoring this rudeness. Instead of continuing on, she interrupted me to tell me "You left a message and I couldn't tell what you needed".

I haven't actually camped here I am writing a review based on the phone call I had with them. The lady I talked to seemed relatively nice but I got a very judgey vibe. She asked how old I was and I told her 25. She said they don't like to have people under 30 stay there. Also they don't want RV'S older than 2005 staying there. I get that they want their campground to look nice and all of that but it just really is a bummer to me that more and more campgrounds are having rules like this. I am a full time RVer and I just want to be able to actually camp and instead I am stuck in a crappy trailer

So much better than their next door neighbors Mt
Creek Goldmine. Their cabins are infested with mice. They offer rv hookups, showers and a laundry facility. If you want to have a fun time and not spend a arm and a leg, this is the place to go.

Spent a few months here. The owners are liars, con artists, and make up rules constantly! They are not fit to run a campground! Jeff (owner) has been caught spying on renters through their windows with night vision goggles late at night on their own lot more than once!!! They share other campers personal information with other campers and try to start conflict with others. Adam (owners son who stays in campground) has tried to fight 3 people just in the short time I stayed there. Please, do yourself a favor and don't stay here!

This is by far the best the pay to dig gold site in Carolina's. I have been to almost all the others and none of them even come close. Friendly service always happy to help. If you don't find gold here, you don't know what you are doing. Have visited over 30 times, and have been happy with the results every time. For anyone with negative feedback I suggest you take a class on how to prospect, because you are obviously doing something wrong if you don't find gold and a good amount at that !!
