Stiffness can affect any joint in your body, including your fingers, hands, wrists, knees, and elbows. While experiencing joint stiffness, you may find it more difficult than usual to walk, stand, type, or perform other regular daily tasks. If your symptoms are ongoing, you should seek treatment. Joint stiffness can occur when range of motion.

Instead of the significant open incisions involved in traditional spinal surgeries, minimally invasive spine surgery uses a specialized tool called a tubular retractor in order to reach the precise area to be treated-this is a hollow tube that's inserted through a small incision. It allows the surgeon to visualize and access the targeted area while.

I really appreciated how Dr. Hall took the time to listen to [my] concerns and provide explanations and options. I recommend him to anyone with foot issues. Dr. Jonathan S. Dr. Antoine is one of the best surgeons I have met. He is very empathetic, patiently address all our questions and highly skilled. I had my ACL reconstruction done by him and I highly recommend ProOrtho & Dr. Antione.

I have been a patient of Sarah and Dr. Nelson since October 2019. In the past 2 yrs., I've experienced incremental improvements (aka less pain, increasing life enjoyment). Between 2011 & 2019, I struggled with multiple diagnoses and treatments (from multiple MDs & US locations) that at best improved my pain for a week. Regardless of what I came to Sarah with, she is not only willing to actively listen, but also to use her expertise + innovative thinking, always leading to less or no pain. I've gone from my life revolving around my pain to hiking 250+ miles through the pandemic! I thank the universe

Honestly super upset at this place right now. I’ve been coming here for years due to my back, I made an appointment two weeks ago to check in with my doctor because my back pain has been extremely bad recently. I saw him on a Friday, no one called my medications in to my pharmacy until the next Tuesday (I called them multiple times asking why they haven’t been called in yet I was in a lot of pain and the lady I talked to was extremely rude). He also was supposed to submit an MRI for me and usually they give you a call back in a couple days after insurance authorized it to schedule. I’ve been

Not a very good first impression. I was checked in by a young blond female employee with acrylic nails of an unbelievable length, sitting back so casually in her chair that one would think she was on her morning break. While inputting my information into her computer system, she had to keep her hands at a distance from the keyboard to maneuver her nail tips hitting the keys. There was no courtesy, no efficiency and by her questions to a senior fellow employee about how to input this or that into the system, there was no knowledge of the operating system either. This kind of treatment usually sets

After months of physical therapy and unclear MRIs, I was referred to Dr. Samuel Koo. His patient bedside manner is very professional, calm, and straightforward. We discussed various options and I took some time to think things over before deciding to ultimately do surgery. The process was very straightforward and streamlined, they gave me a folder with detailed information at my pre-op appointment and gave clear instructions for surgery day. The surgery team was amazing, the anesthesiology team were so kind and explained exactly what they were doing. I opted for a shorter nerve block and am very

The doctors may be good, but good luck getting in to see one! If seeing Dr. Nelson, you have to bypass scheduling and call someone in his office. After leaving multiple messages, she finally called me back...a week later!!!
Need a referral to anyone outside their clinic? Good luck with that too! They say they fax things that seem to be lost in space somewhere and never reach the recipient.
My bad! The first time I ever visited this place, I waited TWO AND A HALF HOURS before I was seen. I should have seen this as a sign and walked out after 30 minutes!

I was there for a basic appointment. They kept me there for two hours. The doctor only talked to me for two minutes then left me waiting in the room for an hour. After that the doctor (Robert Neil) showed up and said he will give me a hand support to wear. He left the room again and his assistant didn't know which one she should give me. When I asked where is the doctor they said the doctor is with another patient. They gave priorities to other patient even it was my turn. I missed so many meeting because of them. I should give this clinic ZERO.

Dr Koo and his team are wonderful!
I guess I'll start with the receptionists. They have all been efficient and polite. They always know what is going on.
I met with Dr Koo for my evaluation. I knew immediately he knew his profession and was good at it. He gave me a few options and once I made my decision, he let me know what to expect for the recovery and final result.
I was scheduled for outpatient surgery on April 28th. Everyone involved was cheerful, professional, and made me feel at ease. The assistant to the anesthesiologist was Jay. I don't remember the anesthesiologist's name because

Do not use their surgery center for anything complicated - there is no back up or any one to call if things aren't going well. I had a hind foot fusion done there and, even though I expressed preference for the hospital, the dr insisted. They work on a formula and I was sent home with a pain medication that I had never has before. I asked for something else but they couldn't do it. Even with antinausea drugs I had projectile vomiting. Was told that they couldn't prescribe anything else as they had given me that narcotic. End result I went through a hind foot fusion pain with

Dr Roberts is FANTASTIC. I would highly recommend seeing him. The staff is also extremely friendly, which a lot of the reviewers here say they aren't. Not true. Dr Robert's MA was so kind and informative. Dr Roberts addressed my concerns and was very good at describing how my procedure would work and how the recovery would ensue. I cannot recommend him enough.

I had an awesome experience with my ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair. Surgery was so easy because of how people-oriented the doctors and assistants were. I definitely recommend Dr.Stickney, he was very professional and gave me options for surgery as well as his opinion on which one I should choose for my personal long-term goals. I’m about a week since surgery at the time I’m writing this and I feel relatively no pain and am walking with a brace. Awesome turn-around getting back into everyday life’s chores.

Every part of the process here was wonderful. Dr. Neil Roberts took his time explaining what was going on with my shoulder, walking me through the imaging, and giving me a realistic overview of what my recovery will look like. I was given the contact info for the nurse who helped for follow up (Venessa) and she has answered the phone and immediately taken care of my issues every time I’ve called. I’m sure some of that is timing/luck, but her friendliness and efficiency aren’t. Overall, I felt very good about the visit and found it well worth the drive outside my local area. I left with a

Had a surgical management on my isolated ulna nightstick from Dr. Hall. He listened and addressed all my concerns with pros and cons if I want to have the hardware remove in the future. After 3 months out of the surgery, my arm is fully healed and I couldn't be any happier. Plus, that dude is funny and quick witted which help especially when I don't like to be around hospital scene in general.

I shattered the top of my humerus and Dr. Koo and his PA Claudia have been great. Dr Koo did a great job of putting my shoulder together with a plate and pins/screws and I'm hoping for a full recovery. On week 3 now post op. Since he only does shoulders, he can focus and be very good at that

Update, I have about 90% function in my shoulder which is better than expected. Very happy with my result.

Had surgery on my foot. Numbness afterwards was never a complication that was discussed. Currently dealing with this which is frustrating. Good luck getting into this office however because if you actually get an appointment, be prepared for them to call a day or 2 in advance to cancel and reschedule. This has happened to me on all 3 of my last appointments. Their schedulers have a very "oh well" too bad kind of attitude. The wait times are always extremely long and they seem to have more patients than they can actually manage. I'd recommend searching elsewhere for your orthopedic

The monitor in the lobby stated my doctor was running on schedule... 25 minutes after scheduled appointment time I was brought back to exam room and then waited another 10 minutes. This is normal for them. Doctor was uncaring and made me feel like a drug seeker. Misdiagnosed and unnecessary surgery performed. Now I'm in constant pain. You're just a number there.

Dr. Stickney replaced my right knee in 12/18 and my left knee in 3/19. Both minimally invasive surgeries went very well, went home the same day and walking immediately (with walker, of course) and I have zero pain in either knee, and great range of motion, for the first time since the late 1990s. Surgery scars were small and pain was present, but well controlled, for both surgeries. Really, really hit the physical therapy hard, Dr. Stickney said, and your chances of a great outcome are vastly improved. I did as instructed, and even though it came with a lot of tears, things worked out well. My

My 15 yr old had a ski injury to her knee. We were seen on dec 19- referral request was sent to our insurance for an MRI. I called 3 times after Dec 25 to check on the status of the referral and they kept saying they haven't received the authorization from my insurance yet. Once the receptionist told me that "these things take time" and was very rude, sounding annoyed with me for calling and questioning their protocol. Once they told me they didn't know which lab we were referred to for the MRI when insurance approved it. When I called back

**UNINSURED PATIENTS TAKE NOTE** UPDATE 6 MONTHS LATER: this review does not in any way reflect the care I received from Dr Sanela and nurse Megan. They were both AMAZING while I was treated here, and I am only updating now because I know Sanela no longer works here. I had previously left 5 stars.
This update reflects the billing side of this office.

Pain Management patient for years..... screwed up when in extreme pain by using meds previously prescribed by PCP and was immediately discharged by ProOrtho. Yes, my own fault, but there is absolutely NO forgiveness nor "second chance" given by these people. Pump has gone dry and my high blood pressure and diabetes are completely out of control. I'm so sick and don't know what will happen. Primary care dr has retired. Up the proverbial creek w/o paddle.

Waiting for weeks for their staff to submit proper dictation and paperwork to insurance carrier and confirmed with BC/BS that they had not and finally get approval for a procedure. Show up 30 mins before appt in the morning only to learn the Doctor (Nelson) is running a hour late. How about letting your patients know that this is the case as you would charge a patient for a no show or being 5-10 minutes late. This practice has some big management issues. Seen 4 of their providers there over the past couple years and it just gets worse and worse. There are other options

Re: Dr. Jeffrey Roh

I asked him a single question: "What is the prognosis for the procedure you are recommending"? He all but laughed me off ...

I had already decided NOT to schedule the surgery within the first minute of meeting Dr. Roh. His egregiously inappropriate response to such a fundamental question, closed my relationship with ProOrtho entire.

Dr. Roh's elitist, beyond reproach, arrogant
manner is the single reason I did not schedule surgery with ProOrtho. I want to thank him for playing his role in my process - as it did help clarify and add to my confidence in the
