I was so grateful for a friend's recommendation to contact Rueland & Turnbough to help plan my mother's funeral. I was able to come 2 weeks prior before my mother passed away and work with Kim. Though everyone there are amazing and wonderfulto work with. They were very helpful and kind. They were answering questions anytime I had one. I was able to get everything organized at the funeral home in regards to the the prayer cards, flowers, vault coffin, and anything else you could and wanted done,even the most minute detail. We met Chad, Eli & Kim four years ago and right away they treated us like part of their family. At one of the most vulnerable times of your life, you need people that have patience, people you can rely on, and more importantly people you can trust. Reuland & Turnbough is a most amazing funeral home. I have been through death in the family before but never actually in charge of the details. After I contacted them it was incredible how everything fell into place, from the care of picking up my husband to the steps in between nothing was missed. The care and reverence that was shown was 5 stars. The gentle nature of everyone surrounding the process was such a comfort. The staff at Reuland & Turnbough went above and beyond to help me when I lost my husband unexpectedly. Not only did they help me to plan his services at a price I could afford, but they helped me find the guidance I needed afterwards for my financial issues. Something that my husband had always seen too. They took care of all the small details of the service and had great suggestions for the other things I need support with at the time.

My father passed away at Lake Forest Hospital. We searched for a funeral home that would take care of my father with the dignity that he deserved. We also sought a funeral home that was compassionate in light of this terrible time of our lives. We also looked at the cost of the other funeral homes and they were the most reasonable. Reuland & Turnbough exceeded our expectations in every way.
When I first called they told me that they were sorry for our loss and they extended us a sincere desire to help my family in our time of need. I informed them that I wanted my dad out of that hospital

The funeral home brought in McDonald’s coffee and doughnuts from my friend’s favorite shop, since that was his everyday routine. Because his Italian heritage and gardening were so important to him, Italian music played in the background, creative vegetable bouquets were used as centerpieces
