Established in 2008, GEC is a dedicated team of events services managers who carefully prepare pre-show and put our boots on the ground during operations to plan, integrate and deliver robust staffing solutions for wide-ranging programs and clients.

Great Events was started in 2008 out of necessity. While managing concerts and other large events at Fat City Entertainment Greg Tomasello developed the need for temporary staffing. The service from these contracted temporary staffing companies was not up to the standards set within our operation, thus jeopardizing our image and therefore our business.
We are committed to providing our customers with superior level of service and expertise in our industry. To do this we have implemented a wide range of services and products that are considered to be industry standards in business across the nation. We aim to transfer this expertise to you the customer giving you the necessary skills and resources to manage your business and market it successfully.
Our experienced staff, and expert coordinators have serviced events and venues of all types in Colorado area for over 10 years. Greg Tomasello is an operations specialist with more than 25 years of experience in large venue management. He has directed major theme parks across the US and Africa, IE Raging Waters Water Park (San Jose, CA), White Water Canyon (San Diego, CA), Morey's Piers (Wildwood, New Jersey), Boomers Fun Parks-San Diego, & Vista locations (San Diego, CA) and Wave House (South Africa) are to name a few.
GEC's extensive experience in providing security and other services for Fairgrounds events makes us uniquely qualified to fulfill the requirements for multiple event types. The "inside information" our veteran staff members have acquired from working previous events will be invaluable in enabling them to provide exemplary service.

We have been using Great events of colorado security Staff for our events at our restaurant and their Staff is always been very profesional and helpful they are always on time and do their job right. we couldnt be happier with their services and although we have had different satff members at the events Thomas has been amazing and ten thumbs up speaking from all our restaurant staff and we certainly always request him to come back and help us when we have an event.

Management needs a change of attitude, Tyra is amazing.... however Greg (the owner) is disorganized and easily disrespected by his staff due to his lack of leadership.
The company has good potential and is easy to work for however some of the supervisors are power hungry and are bringing the overall performance of the company down.
