Laressa was born in St Petersburg Russia where she was trained as a physician's assistant (fel'dsep, Feldsher). As a physician's assistant she had the opportunity to work with some of the most renowned dermatologists in Russia. After immigrating to the United States, Laressa enrolled in a formal study of esthetics and upon graduation she worked for several years as an apprentice under two of the most prominent estheticians in the Boston area.
With several years of apprenticeship behind her, and years of dermatological experience, Laressa knew she could offer a unique, effective, and modern approach to skincare. With that in mind, in early 2003 Laressa opened: Laressa's Eastern European Skin Care. Laressa embraces the latest advances in skin care, while at the same time maintaining a common sense, natural approach to skin care.
