It is my privilege to welcome you to Covenant High School. We are a Christian, classical, and college preparatory school serving students from a variety of churches throughout the South Sound region. I have observed the exceptional quality of our faculty as they model their Christian faith as a "living curriculum" to our students and demonstrate freshly applied classical pedagogy.
Covenant High School strives to deepen our students' relationship with Jesus Christ and prepare them for fruitful and joyful service to God and man. Covenant is a co-ed parochial day school. We typically serve over 30 churches in the region from a variety of different denominations. The institution is a ministry of Faith Presbyterian Church, operating as a non-profit 501c3 organization.
Students attending Covenant can earn over a full year of college credit while in high school. This is a valuable option for students desiring to maintain their four-year high school experience while earning college credit to enhance their college applications and gives some students an opportunity to graduate college early.
Ross attended Springfield Classical Christian School prior to Covenant. Looking back on his freshmen year, Ross said he created solid friendships, which he believes benefited his high school experience as a whole. Smaller class sizes made it easy to meet new people, begin the high school experience, and grow socially.

By far the best High school in Tacoma. Students get a first rate education and are nurtured in their faith. Our oldest child is heading off to college this fall and received numerous scholarships. She also received preparation that will make her successful in life. My daughter was talking to a friend that went to Bellarmine H.S., the girl said that Bellarmine was a challenging school. She said, "I will have to read Caesar's Gaelic Wars when I am a senior." My daughter thought, "I will be translating it from the original Latin my senior year!"

I am a parent of 3 graduates and a current student. CHS has academic excellence, a warm and encouraging atmosphere, and top-notch faculty that are each teaching in their area of academic expertise and preparation. The curriculum is very well-developed and solidly based on a Biblical view of the world. My children have been well prepared for college. Studying at Covenant is challenging, but it's also a lot of fun. The highlight of the 4 years is the Great Britian/Normandy Historical tour taken in the junior or senior year. This is truly an outstanding school.
