We also offer sleep studies to help treat a number of sleep related disorders at the Ghaly Sleep Center. Our commitment is to better the immediate and ultimate well-being of our patients through the incorporation of psychological, holistic, and medical care. Once all of the necessary information is received, it will be reviewed by one of our providers to determine if the referral will be accepted.

Our office offers medication management services for a wide array of psychiatric conditions for adults over the age of 18. We offer acupuncture services to aid in healing various ailments such as chronic pain, smoking cessation, migraines, depression, and allergies, just to name a few.
Dr. Ghaly received his high school diploma at the prestigious College De La Salle in 1967, and graduated from medical school in Cairo, Egypt in 1974. He is fluent in French, English, and Arabic. He worked as a general practitioner in Egypt until he immigrated to the US in 1977 where he completed his psychiatric residency at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, NY.
Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression. TMS is typically used when other depression treatments haven't been effective. The Ghaly TMS Center provides the most comprehensive and advanced technology in the world.
Dr. Ghaly has been studying oriental medicine since 1983 and received training in China, Korea and Europe. He became a licensed acupuncturist in 1983 and is also a Charter Fellow. He has expertise with traditional Chinese medicine but also offers a number of state of the art technologies to treat his patients including Electrical Meridian Analysis, Laser Acupuncture, and Magnetic Acupuncture.
Our sleep center is located in East Syracuse and provides patients with prompt, courteous, professional health care in a relaxed and comfortable environment. My care was good until I refused further ECT treatments with Dr. Nasri Ghaly. I became permanently disabled after my last ECT treatment. He continually dismissed my new symptoms. Years later, I left because I felt my care under him and his new NP was no longer safe. I had been through 3 NPs/PAs prior because they kept leaving his practice. 2 new psychiatrists I have consulted, one of which has taken on my care, have said his medication management was dangerous. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I went to Ghaly hoping their TMS treatment would help with my OCD. I was told the worst that could happen was it wouldn’t help. In fact, it made my OCD symptoms much worse. After, I was promised Dr. Ghaly would call me to discuss and I never heard anything. If you are hoping for help with OCD, just be warned they won’t tell you it can make symptoms worse. Be careful. These people DO NOT care about their patients at all. They’re truly heartless.

New patient recording states that they are accepting new patients and the hoops to jump through to become one. After not hearing back, call, to get told by an EXTREMELY RUDE receptionist that they are not accepting new patients as of nine days prior to the referral. I refer to the recording that says they are to which the NASTY women replied that the recording doesn’t matter and hangs up on me before I could respond. This practice has Immensely declined over the past year and a half. Do not except your meds to be refilled on time, irregardless to how far in advance or how many times you call for refills, have run out of meds almost every month for the past 6 months, therefore having to deal with withdrawal for 4+ days until you can try to get through to the office again. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED with lack of continuity of care , have seen 4 different providers in the past year and each one has resigned already , appointments are scheduled out for once every 3 months due to staff shortages so good luck getting

Wonderful and caring office. Dr. Ghaly is one of the most compassionate people you will ever meet. His staff is friendly and very helpful. I don't understand what any of these negative reviews could possibly be about, I've never had any issues at all. Highly recommend the Ghaly Healing & Wellness Center!
