Delicacies Gourmet began over thirty years ago in the heart of historical Roslyn Village. Since the beginning, our store was very popular because of it's location on the famous Roslyn Duck Pond along with our dedication to freshness and service. Everyday we strive to offer a diverse menu of high quality foods and premier services to the residential and commercial communities in Roslyn and it's surrounding towns.
In early 2008, we started renovations to expand the delicatessen. Not only did we expand we also added many new and creative food choices. Our service became faster and more efficient and the store was "user friendly" now that we became computerized. In 2012, we expanded again so we would have indoor and outdoor seating areas.

We still accept other payment options, though those transactions will incur a 3.95% non-cash adjustment.
I had the opportunity to introduce "Delicacies" to a larger audience and I just want you to know that we are very grateful that you are in the neighborhood. As you know, you are my first choice, but to have the majority of a team rave about the paninis and salads let me know that my selections were diverse enough and that you always deliver quality with a great presentation.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite for lunch, or you're catering a backyard Labor Day party, Jimmy and his team never let you down. The choices are endless and the food is amazing, not to mention my son can’t stop raving about their freshly baked chocolate chip cookies 🍪 😉. Can’t wait to dig into my New Year’s Eve food later; thanks again!

Ive suffered at the hands of Delicacies long enough. I have collectively spent many many thousands of dollars at this local place since I’ve lived in Roslyn. Look, people mess up…and they are a local shop, which I am always supportive of…so I’ve tried to do the right thing by them. I’ve called to explain the issues. I’ve given direct feedback. But this establishment simply doesn’t care about its customers. I would say 7 times out of 10 when making simple orders, they get it wrong or leave something out. So basically, when you go to Delicacies, “you don’t get what you pay for”

Don't understand why the overall rating is so low! This deli has everything you're looking for! Service is always fast and friendly. My husband and I have ordered on the app to pick up and in person numerous times and have never had an issue with our order. We've had the wraps and paninis and the banana nut muffin. Iced coffee is simple, nothing special. There are so many food options to choose from. There is also a nice small pond behind the deli where you can take a stroll.

Don't come to NY often, but the food never disappoints! 😋 2 Fried eggs,(this woman's not afraid to eat) bacon, cheddar cheese on a roll. And home fries on the side. Was wrapped so neat n tight. Cooked perfectly.
Not to mention the location is beautiful. And I believe u can eat on the back deck above the water.

Long Island is a pain in the behind when it comes to finding Gluten Free food (allergy). Delicacies has been the only deli I've found to consistently offer individually packaged (to prevent cross-contamination) and not frozen GF rolls, so you don't necessarily have to take the risk of getting it toasted (I haven't asked if they use separate toasters). On LI GF accommodations come with crazy up charges and is usually promoted as a health trend. Delicacies hasn't done that-- my breakfast sandwich is always under $10 (and I add avocado to it). I would give 1 star because everyone who answers the phone is super snotty but they get / stars because their food is good.
Today I tried to place an order in their website and it said $15 minimum. I was placing 2 orders with 2 credit cards so I called to see if there was a way I could go that and the first girl who answered, Lisa was so rude and mid conversation she just put me on the phone with someone else and didn't bother to tell me.
The second girl got on and I explained and she said we can't do that. She seemed very annoyed but I said can you take my order and she said $15

Very good and delicious food, excellent service and fair prices. It's a blessing having places like this open most likely with the environment in the one we are living right now that we need strong, clean, and safe stores where to get the food for our families.
I definitely recommend Delicacies if you are looking for hot meals for your family or maybe a little something on your way to work or wherever you going

This the the best deli I've found in this area. With açaí bowls and smoothies , pizza, and normal deli things all inside, your options are huge!!! The service is incredible! The staff is friendly and work efficiently to make sure your order comes out fast and correct. I would highly recommend giving this place a chance.

I've continued going here for breakfast/lunch and it seems they took away the pizza and expanded the açaí bowl place. Still would highly recommend it for sandwiches, lunch, etc. 5 stars!!

What?! Why does this place have such awful reviews?! Stopped in here pre-concert for THE most delicious, fresh, chicken-bacon-spinach-Gorgonzola-cranberry-Mandarin salad! I loved it, and thank you!
And: the TIRAMISU was fresh and PERFECT!!! I'm going to crave coming here next time I'm in the area! (No pic of that since we scarfed it too quickly...)

For the price you pay the food is horrible ! I asked for a coffee with cream and sugar, she deff put milk instead and as soon as I walked outside I started throwing up! The tuna was tasteless, and my boyfriend got a egg and cheese on white bread and we both forced ourselves to try to eat it ... so disappointed !

I've lived in the area a long time. I have never been here til today, first time. This is a great deli. I will come back for sure. Very fast and friendly, service, theyre systems in place are structured and thought out allowing a better experience. They have a sitting room to eat in with many tables. I had an egg over easy sandwich and it came out prefect. The sandwich was gooey and that was nice it meant a lot to me. I truly thank them for that beautiful egg sandwich.
