Today my daughter wanted me to get her a #2 brick oven panini from Piccolo Gourmet. She was at work in Manhasset and was to get her dinner break at 4:00. I called Piccolo at 2:45 and said I would pick it up at 3:00. I got there and the panini was ready. I got to my car snd something told me to check it. Low and behold it was a #7. I did not open the box- the number was on top. I went back in and told the girl and said it would be remade. The man who was making it starting slicing roast beef, which was not even in the sandwich. He proceeded to make the correct sandwich and then after preparing it

Wow! This place has everything! I had the roast beef stuffing with all the add ons (on a hero bun of course!) plus a neopolitan pizza and it was delish! The char on the pizza was perfect with the amount of toppings and the roast beef is boar's head, so what is there to complain about? Plus the lady at the cashier was super nice. Bonus!

My family orders sandwiches from Piccolo all the time and they are our go-to for catering for every family party. For my backyard wedding this past Saturday we used Piccolo again and recieved so many compliments on the outstanding food! Everyone loved the paninis and wraps, which were individually wrapped for safety and added cleanliness. Thank you again, Piccolo!

The food is great, but last week when we revisited after a long time and initially being concerned because the door sign said wear a mask and gloves and we just had masks, we were astonished to walk in and see two customers with no masks. The store is not that big so those two people were with six feet of us. The staff all had masks and plexiglass but why did no one asked those two customers to wear masks? We won't return for a while until we can be sure of our safety.

I was told about this place by a new co-worker as a place we might want to order from to change up from our regular eats. While most of my Co-workers got the panini's, which they all raze about, I choose to get a hero. I must say the hillside slider hero is amazing! With a long work day it keeps me full through out the long shift we pull on Thursday nights. I also appreciate that the deliver all the way to my job in Manhasset. If you ever get the chance check them out you won't be upset.

I went there for lunch and ordered a mini pizza, the guy making the pizzas told me it would be 15 minutes. For a 6" pizza, when I asked if it was ready 20 minutes later the schmuck didn't even put it in the oven. The. He said I can make it right now it will only take 5minutes. I walked out. It was the first time and the last time I will ever go there.

Ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken on Uber eats. When I opened the salad it had green and red peppers, regular black olives and days old chicken. I called the restaurant and asked them why they added green and red peppers with no kalamata olives I was told "that's how we make it here". Zero customer service. I also asked about the dry chicken. Allegedly it was made earlier today. None of the food was fresh after I placed my order the food came in 20 mins. Waste of money.

Piccolo is great. A wonderful Italian deli but extremely expensive.
If you go in and place an order do yourself a favor and DO NOT LET THE OLDER MAN NAMED JOE MAKE YOUR FOOD. you will 100% regret it. I once ordered chicken cutlet and mozzarella (HOT) on a hero and that psychopath put half a jar of mayo on the sandwich. I did not ask for Mayo but for some reason he thought it was okay to serve us a hot mayo sandwich. It was disgusting, inedible, and a complete waste of +$10. He's gotten me and a lot of people I know with these types of mistakes. He doesn't listen to what you want

I really enjoy this place and I have been coming here with my dad and my sister for a few years. Their food is really good and I really enjoy their paninis. They also have a great variety of stuff in the deli section and their sandwiches tastes really great as well. The only thing I don't like too much as the fact that they are really stingy when it comes to giving you a decent amount of food in there hot food section. Depending on who is serving you they will literally give you the minimum or they will put a little bit more for you but considering that the price is up there you do want your

I'm really impressed by the vast options here. The cases are full of Italian specialties like baked pene, chicken Marsala, broccoli rabe, the list goes on and on. Next to the specialties case is where they make sandwiches to order. In the back there are some hot daily items like meatloaf and mashed potatoes, etc. And then there is the brick oven where they make pizza. There are also specialties items like baked goods, pastas, cookies, pastries, I mean the list goes on and on here.

I think this place is great. It seems to get mixed reviews but all of the food I got from here and the customer service I have received have been excellent.
Their macaroni salad is the best I've ever had. The chicken Parm, baked ziti, and rice ball were all delicious. I haven't tried one of their pizzas yet but will definitely make it a point to do so.
When I went in today the gentleman behind the counter was really nice and made several suggestions for things to get. He was right on all accounts. I tipped him a few bucks and he gave me two rice balls for free just to try them. Such
