Current owner Todd Bush recognized the need for a more artistic tattoo shop in the Fort Worth area and opened Epic Tattoos in July of 2004 on North Beach Street. Although much has changed in the past decade, we remain committed to the original mission of operating under the highest of standards. Would not recommend this place to absolutely anyone. The dude (Luis) scheduled an appointment at 8:30 when they close at 10. He was obviously in a rush to finish and didn't want to be there working on my tattoo. First he tried to up-charge me. At the consultation he told me it would be $300 with a $60 deposit that was non-refundable. At the actual appointment he upped it to $400 with no notice. Upon getting back there he tried to talk me out of my original design. He was negative the entire time complaining and whining the entire time while working. Then once he started working he pressed

Came here because I thought I got my bellybutton pierced here (turns out this was not the original place But that's a different story for a different time lol). I had my belly Piercing for about six months but the healing process was just taking a little longer than usual and I wanted to see a piercer for what I thought was an infection. Ivan was quick to assess my situation and let me know that it wasn't an infection but was just healing. I walked in today without an appointment, hoping to get a tattoo in memory of my dad, and Luis immediately drew up the design I wanted and was able to tattoo me right away. Wonderful customer service, he was very kind and talked me through the whole process. I'm insanely happy with the finished product and will love it forever.

I've never been here and my experience was great! I went in for a triple forward helix piercing and Cat was amazing! Soo non-judgmental and a easy going. I was SOO nervous about the pain, and seriously within 5 minutes it was over. 3 piercings! It took longer to set up and clean than to actually pierce. Thank you Cat I love my piercings!

The staff and Aaron were amazing! They were super laid back and welcoming. Yet, perfectionists when it came time to create my tattoo. Aaron is creative, sweet and an incredible artist with an eye for detail. My husband and I got tattoos to commemorate our 10th wedding anniversary and we couldn't be more pleased with Epic Tattoos. When in need for ink or piercings we will definitely be back!

I went in for a belly button piercing and instead of just doing it and taking my money, she informed me that i didn't have enough skin and that i should really have a dermal piercing. So I took her advice and thank goodness! My piercing came out beautiful!! Thinly thing is, is that dentals are $100 vs $40. A little steep and higher than my last dermal piercing so to me this was a bit on the spendy side.

Their hours say that they are open until 6 online and on the store. During this Covid time I know many places close early so I took this into consideration. I called the store multiple times during the week and the phone call said that the mailbox was full. I then drove up there the day I wanted to come get pierced and they were not open. As I knocked on the door and waiting a few minutes I saw a guy walking around inside of the building and then seeing me and walking away. I will not recommend coming here if that's how they treat their customers.

I was sent to an artist (Trey) when he was at a different shop for a half sleeve. He did amazing work and I followed him to Epic to do a full sleeve on my other arm. Trey did an amazing job again but, this isnt a review for him as his work speaks for itself. This is a review of an awesome tattoo shop.
From the moment I stepped into Epic, I was treated like family by everyone there. I spent over 30 hours there over the course of about 3-4 weeks so I got to interact with the whole staff an every last one of them rocks. To hear these artists talk "shop" amongst themselves is an education

Went to this shop to get my first tattoo today, and was impressed from start to finish. The shop is clean, the layout is awesome and everybody was really cool/chill.
John was the guy who did mine, and on top of doing a fantastic job with helping me sort out some of the details on the tattoo, he was a great guy to work with. Explained everything and was just stellar to work with.

Kory Anguish is the man!
My wife has 2 tattoos from him and I now have one of my own. Kory is a fantastic artist and really knows his stuff. I handed him an idea I'd been sitting on for 9 years and was always nervous that when I finally handed it to an artist, it would fall short of my hopes and anticipations. Kory knocked it out of the park though, and I couldnt be happier with it! The placement and flow on my arm is wonderful, as is the design. The line work is very clean and the shading is great!
He's also really flexible. I decided to change the placement day-of and he had no problem
