Immersive Recovery provides multiple locations to maximize our client's ability to engage in a future-focused lifestyle while providing them with the comfort and safety necessary to treat the disease of addiction. Our counseling facility is located in North County San Diego, just ten minutes from the beaches of Encinitas and Carlsbad, and is designed to provide unparalleled care for our clients.
Immersive Recovery provides a comprehensive Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), more commonly referred to as "Day Treatment.". At our drug and alcohol rehab center, our curriculum is geared towards treating individuals at the earliest stages of sobriety and providing comprehensive treatment plans for those suffering from severe forms of addiction.
After battling the disease of addiction for many years, Torrey Pines High School graduates and brothers Michael and Rob Weir have turned their lives around and are now committed to helping others do the same. Along with partner Wesley Heim, the brothers recently opened Immersive Recovery, a drug and alcohol treatment center for men in San Marcos.
Prescription drug abuse and addiction is one of the most prominent types of chemical dependency. Prescription drugs are any type of medication that is legally approved by the doctor before it can be taken. The types of prescription drugs that are most often abused typically function by dominating or enhancing chemical reactions present in the brain.

I am writing today regarding my son, John. I had a very positive and hopeful feeling after speaking with Wes Heim the Program Director at the treatment center that John’s Mother and I ended up choosing to best treat our Son. Originally, John was placed at Uturn For Christ which there were many benefits. However, it was not tailored to his needs. So, the transfer to Wes’s program has been absolutely amazing. I believe Immersive Recovery has saved my son's life and our family! Transitioning from another treatment center, we had a basis for comparison that confirmed Immersive Recovery is absolutely amazing! My first conversation with Wes let me believe that this recovery center was exactly what my son needed. With Wes sharing his story I quickly realized he really did understand our struggles. We live 3000 miles from the center, but I feel like Wes is right next door ready to help us with any request or question. Honestly, I do not understand how he does it! Clearly, he must have super human powers!

Immersive Recovery has been a blessing for our entire family. My son has been on his path of recovery and has been very successful since he has been with Immersive. He seems to have found what he needed through the support and love that he receives from the entire staff. Immersive has also been there for our entire family through this process. There are so many Recovery options these days the choice can feel overwhelming of which one to go with. Will I pick the right one? Can they really help me? My 22-year old son has been in an out and of recovery from drugs and alcohol for the last few years. It's has been extremely difficult to watch the progression of his disease and self destruction, that I was nearly hopeless.

Immersive recovery saved my life and i don't say that lightly.. The directors Wes and Noah care and put their hearts in 100 percent. First Step was the ideal housing situation for me when I got out of rehab. I wanted a place that had a positive vibe and a sense of community, with people genuinely trying to keep themselves clean. Wes Heim was a great house manager and advocate for positive change.. always looking out for our best interest. He is a no nonsense leader, which we all liked and respected. We had an incident with a guy coming to live in the house that was causing problems continuously on purpose. Wes removed him quickly so we could focus on our recovery and strengthen our community. This has been a great place for me in my recovery. The staff and managers are very kind and created a sober environment worth every penny. The house is in a great neighborhood and the amenities, including 2 separate TV rooms in a spacious house. The housemates are friendly and empathetic to all addicts. This is my safe haven. Newly remodeled with all new furniture and appliances. I am so grateful that i found such a great sober living environment.
