Heavy Equipment Armor was founded by the owner of Advanced Forest Equipment, Engineer of the original disc mulcher for skid steers. Being a mulching contractor for over 36 years, and safety always being a priority, he designed and built custom guarding to protect his operators and equipment. Eventually, the heavy equipment protection became available to purchase through Advanced Forest Equipment.
Due to the inquiries received about heavy equipment guarding, it became apparent there was a need in the industry that was not being filled; Heavy Equipment Armor was established. Guarding that was available through Advanced Forest Equipment is now under the HEA name. With new heavy equipment protection products continually being engineered and coming to the market.

The new HEA excavator windshield guard protects operators from flying debris that may be encountered while operating heavy machinery. Our Defender Ballistic Series windows were designed by contractors who run heavy equipment and have been tested using ballistic standards. Our excavator window protection is a UL752 rated, level 1 ballistic polycarbonate window.
Getting the job done and doing it safely is our core belief at Heavy Equipment Armor. With numerous hours of work at different job sites, we understand that accidents can occur when you least expect it. That's why we created a bolt-on excavator guarding to help protect operators and their equipment.
We offer complete fabrication of custom guard packages to guard and protect your employees, investments, and your machines. Please note: Excavator must be brought to our location so we can install the correct custom guard package. Guarding that requires the machine to be at our location are Logger Style Running Boards, Light Kit for boom guard and Right Side Logger Style Box with lights.

Everywhere I go people want to know about my HEA door on my Bobcat T870. I get more compliments on it. It not only looks good but it is a life savor. Just last week a piece of medal broke off of a trailer I was pulling out with a chain. The large metal piece came straight at the cab headed for my head. It bounced off the door and did not leave a scratch. This would have been a bad situation with a lessor door. Order yours today. You won’t regret it.
