Mary King also known as "Pooh" purchased Marin Hair Express that had been here since 1997. She had been working in this wonderful salon since 2012.

Today was my first visit to Shampooh's and I'm hooked. "Pooh" gave my neglected hair new life and it feels so good.
While there I found they have other services beside hair and nails. I'm going to get eyelash extensions next.
I'm very happy with the experience I had there and the results. Lots of parking also.

I've been seeing Lenka Bosserman (Formally known as Olivera) for years. She's the only pro that was able to fix my horrible decision to go dark. She keeps my thick, obnoxious and frizzy hair in check. She has flexible hours and she keeps me looking great. She does everything from cuts to color and updo and wedding looks. Go here now

Chioma Simms is a hair artist of the highest caliber. Her work results in strangers commenting on how glowing I look. As my hair has changed from dark brown to salt and peppered grey, I dyed my hair with a $7.99 bottle of Dark Blonde Nice 'n Easy for the last 12 years or so. I'm cheap and busy. As more white came in, there was a lot of contrast between the color I was using and the roots. Just for fun, I looked around for a hair stylist and gave Chioma a try. Chioma was my hairdresser and I was very very pleased at how she cut & styled my hair. This young lady is an asset to your business. She was also able to color my hair using my product. I think what impressed me the most was her thoughtfulness knowing I had a certain budget limit.

Lenka has been taking care of me and my hair for a few years. I’d follow her anywhere, but I’m so glad she’s at Shampooh because it’s a good Salon and I feel comfortable there, which is very important to me. Lenka does my color and cuts. I have real thick fickle hair and she nails it every time!! She’s also fun and honest.

Never have I had such problems with making an appointment with any hair stylist in any salon as I have had with this one. I was referred to Angie whom the first time whom did an acceptable job. For the second appointment I called (morning) and she told me she would call me back to make the appointment. She never did and I had to call the next day. When I arrive for the appointment in the afternoon for my appointment the salon was locked and closed, waited for 15 min when she finally arrived. Just asked for a cut in which she decided she wanted to wash hair to make it easier for her then charged

"Pooh" was finishing up a client when I got there and we started late but I wasn't in a hurry. When my turn came we did a consult of what I was looking for (chopping long hair) and the various particulars. Then a wash and away we go!

Let me tell you about this place! IT IS A FABULOUS PLACE TO GO FOR YOUR HAIR CUTS, AND DYE YOUR HAIR TOO! Everyone is absolutely amazing and funny! You will laugh and you will leave the door so happy!!! The environment there absolutely positive! I got my hair done by Mary! She is my Wonder Woman went it comes to my hair! Love it! Chioma does my braids and extensions. She's really fast yet keeps the braids looking really clean. She made sure I am aware of the proper care of the hair also, and answered all my questions .she's also really great at any type of haircoloring or highlighting. She seems to care more about doing quality work and having repeat clients, rather than being money-hungry. I highly recommend her.

I have lived in Marin my entire life and have never had anyone do my hair as well as Mary King. Shampooh's salon is by far the best salon I have been to in Marin. I have had horrific experiences at many other salons and Mary is the only one I will trust to touch my hair. I have gotten my entire family to go see Mary at shampooh's and they now will not go anywhere else.
