Dr. Ronald N. Parris, M.D., is a dual-certified interventional pain specialist who has helped many individuals to better understand and manage their chronic pain conditions and lead a more fulfilled life. Men and women from all over Uptown Houston, the Galleria, Memorial, Bellaire, River Oaks, the Heights, Mid-Town, and Montrose as well as surrounding cities including Galveston come to the Parris Pain Center for pain relief.
Any discomfort lasting longer than six months is generally classified as chronic pain and requires proper medical attention. When medication and hot/cold therapies fail, or you just prefer a non-chemical therapy option, our class IV laser therapy is your solution. Are you an athlete? Do you suffer from injury to your ankle, wrist, or elbow?
I believe there are two types of pain, cancerous and non-cancerous. Historically we have treated all pain the same, using opioid therapy, which has led to a nationwide epidemic. My focus is wellness; utilizing my class IV laser, I emphasize healing from the cellular level. Double-boarded in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management, Dr. Parris is a Patient-Centric Medical Director with expertise leading a respected pain management private practice.

I was excited to call this office after reading great reviews. Once I called an African American answered the phone with no energy and a bad attitude as if I was bothering her for just calling. I proceeded to ask if the doctor dealt with foot pain because some pain management doctors do not handle this matter. Her response is he deals with all pain. As rude as she was I then asked if I could schedule an appointment. Once she let out a big sigh, she said I would have to have a doctor refer me. I did not have an issue with needing a referral, but after my horrible 2 minute phone experience, I was

The Parris Pain Center is an awesome place for treatment...The office staff was very professional and helpful...Lakesha was so nice and helpful with scheduling my appointment and getting insurance accepted...Dr Parris was so professional and helpful..he spent over 30 minutes with me and diagnosed me immediately...I look forward to being a patient for a long time..this office is highly recommended!!!!
