BACAS Interventional Pain Management LLC, based in Houston, Texas, is a physician group offering patients a fresh, new approach toward pain management. Established in 2006 by Nelson K. Bond, BACAS decided to change the patient experience by incorporating new and innovative treatments to pain along with old-fashioned bedside manner.
Because pain is as unique as the person experiencing it, the physicians at BACAS believe in partnering with patients from the first point of contact through post-treatment follow-up. It is an integral part of the process for our team to understand just how pain has affected the lives of our patients.

The fusing of vertebrae compresses the spinal canal and pushes on the spinal cord and spinal nerve roots. This compression causes nerve pain. The fusing also places enormous pressure on intervertebral discs and this compresses the spinal cord and spinal nerve roots. Once a diagnosis is obtained, we provide you with a clear and detailed explanation of the problem, and the solution.
I designed the RESET program to take care of athletes. Its goal is the elimination of pain and rebuilding of strength in high-intensity athletes. After analyzing the injury profile, we realized civil servants are athletes as well. So we began to offer a modified RESET program to them. All injuries begin with a molecular component.
Diabetic Neuropathy is defined as nerve damage that results from a consistently high blood sugar level. When arteries are exposed to chronically high glucose levels, the arterial wall shrinks, and the nerves do not receive adequate blood flow. Therefore, the nerve cells die. The consistent nerve damage to the nerves triggers nociceptors and causes chronic nerve pain known as peripheral neuropathy.
A laminectomy involves the removal of part of the vertebrae to get rid of back pain or radiating pain from the spine. This can be due to pressure on an intervertebral disc or some form of entrapment of a spinal nerve. This surgery is very dangerous because of its immediate proximity to the spinal cord and many protruding spinal nerves.

I have been seeing Dr. Bond for 4 plus years. He is an amazing doctor and has relieved alot of my pains through his procedures. He takes time with his patients explaining in detail so it can be understood. He has the most caring, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Bond and his staff are the best. So happy he was recommended to me.

I've been going to Dr Bond for treatment for several years now, because of him and his team's professionalism an will continue to do so.The receptionist are courteous and the atmosphere is clean and quiet. Whenever there's a new MRI or EMG report Dr Bond sit and walks me through the report with the images for a complete and clear evaluation. If you're in need of help and understanding of your pain talk to Doctor Bond about it.

I HIGHLY Recommend Dr. Bond he is a great doctor! He's Knowledgeable, informative, and very understanding. He listened to my concerns and provided an outlined plan of care that has successfully worked to alleviate the pain I have been suffering with.
After being disappointed by other physicians and their treatment options, I figured I would just have to live with pain. After several referrals from Co-Workers who have had positive results with Dr. Bond, I decided to make an appointment and I was not disappointed! I am very impressed with the overall experience and the level of knowledge and care

I have been going to Dr.Bond for a couple years now, and He's the best pain management doctor ever. I was hit by a drunk driver and have bad back problems as well as neck and he has taken care of all of my pain. I have gotten the injection and I would be pain free for months. If it wasn't for him, I don't know where I would be. He listens to everything you say and takes the time to look and figure out a way to fix it.

First of all, I've been with Dr.Bond for quite a few years and he has a very understanding and patient attitude in handling my visits. I consider him a friend and I would recommend him as a pain specialist and surgeon and give him A's across the board. He'll ask complete questions about my exact problem and I was taking quite a few opiates after the surgery of course. I feel that he knew a lot about the surgery, and feel really comfortable in saying that he can take care of any patient who visits him. I have started to feel much better throughout the day and am starting to feel like my normal self

I met with Dr. Bond yesterday. I have been to a lot of Drs. Dr. Bond sat down and took his time explaining everything that is going on with my back. He sat with me and showed me my mri results and explained what was going on. I have been dealing with chronic pain since 2003. I have done a lot of research myself. After Dr. Bond explained everything I feel like I have more knowledge then before. I left feeling like a patient he cared about and understands my pain. Many Dr. might specialize in pain management but I feel some just dont get it. He understood my pain. When I had my very first appointment

Dr. Bond is the most caring and compassionate doctor. He actually wants to help you. He takes time to listen and doesn’t rush you through your appointment. He gave me hope after bad experiences with other doctors. He is the only doctor who did something to actually fix my pain. I highly recommend Dr. Bond!!

Dr. Bond is the only doctor I've had that has done injections for pain that actually worked on us, and they last. I am able to move freely, bend over, sit down, stand up, and complete daily tasks without pain. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They actually take the time to listen to what you have to say, and work with you to find a pain management plan that works for you.
