Tracy is a true professional. Her hypnobirthing class not only teaches great information and theory, but also hands-on techniques on maintaining a calm and relaxed state. It was a bonding experience for my husband and I to take the class together and practice her relaxation techniques outside of class. I took her hypnobirthing class online during COVID-19, and Tracy still ensured the class was engaged and involved.

Tracy was a true lifeline in our birthing experience. With her unwavering support in overcoming birth trauma, anxiety, and a last-minute firing of our first midwife, we had a beautiful, joyful, stress-free home birth the Hypnobirthing way! If you're doubting this method, one word: don't! Tracy's the best!

I was able to have an unmedicated birth because of Tracy and hypnobirthing. If you have fears of childbirth I highly recommend this course. It completely changed my perspective on birth. I felt confident and relaxed during my labor with my son. The breathing techniques I used the whole labor. Fantastic. Don't hesitate, sign up!

This was a great class. I will recommend it to all friends who are having a baby and would like to learn tools for coping with pain and staying relaxed during labor and after. I feel more prepared for labor and the relaxation skills we learned have also helped me deal with stress and discomfort during pregnancy.

My husband and I just completed the Hypnobirthing course with Tracy at Seattle Hypnobirthing and really enjoyed it. The hypnobirthing tools are taught in a clear and effective manner, and Tracy is great at providing additional resources such as handouts and written scripts for birth partners to read instead of listening to recordings. This is extra helpful if the "woo-woo" nature of some of the recordings might be a turn off, because the birth partner can make small tweaks in the language to better fit the needs of the birthing person. I also appreciated her "take what's useful attitude". Pregnant

All the five star reviews speak for themselves! My husband and I attended a HypnoBirthing class with Tracy and had an amazing experience. We learned so much and we really developed a strong practice and relationship as we prepared for our birth. On the day of our son's birth my husband and I walked into the hospital on the same page and as a great team. All thanks to Tracy and her work with us. We were able to have a natural birth and all of the techniques we learned in class helped immensely.

Tracy is a great educator, incredibly kind, and very supportive of each couple's decisions

I wish I could give Tracy and Seattle HypnoBirthing SIX stars!

Last week, my wife gave birth to our beautiful, healthy baby and she did so by making extensive use of the HypnoBirthing techniques we practiced. As a result, my wife gave birth without any pain medication and had a great (despite a very intense, very challenging) birth experience!!!

Thanks to our HypnoBirthing classes and regular practice, my wife was able to very quickly calm down and claim rest after each surge. During a very intense, active labor, my wife actually fell asleep a few times, for the brief moments in between surges

My husband and I took Tracy's Hypno birthing classes in preparation for the birth of our second child. After having a difficult delivery with our first child we had a lot of anxiety and wanted to ensure we were better able to advocate for ourselves during our second birth. Not only did we feel more empowered for our second birth, we were able to let go of a lot of negative emotions that we had held onto from our previous experience. We used the techniques Tracy provided us for 12 hours of unmedicated labor, on pitocin, and even though we ultimately didn't end up with a fully unmedicated

I'm so thankful I chose Seattle Hypnobirthing for my birth preparation. Tracy is one of the most down-to-earth women, making a new concept like hypnobirthing totally approachable. She gives you a plethora of tools to go into your labor with, knowing that not everything works for everyone so you can pick and choose what works for you in the moment. Because of this class, I was able to remain calm, relax in between contractions enough to make it through 40 hours of labor, and ultimately have the birth that I wanted. I think even if I weren't able to delivery naturally as planned, I would

When I told my obstetrician about my concerns regarding the potential side effects of pain medication during labor and delivery, she recommended hypnobirthing classes. I'd never heard of hypnobirthing, but found information about Tracy and her practice, Seattle HypnoBirthing, on Yelp.

Despite being a mental health counselor and believing in mindfulness and other arguably talternative therapeutic techniques, I was skeptical that hypnosis skills could help prepare me and my partner for childbirth.

During our first meeting with Tracy, my skepticism was assuaged by her authenticity, warmth,

When I look back at my birth I see my birth team, a team of incredible women who supported and empowered me. And even though Tracy was not present at the birth, she was certainly an essential part of the team as our birth instructor. We enjoyed the classes and found the hypno exercises very useful. The exercises are not just useful for the birth but I used them to help me sleep and find comfort during the last weeks of the pregnancy and am using them all the time now to help me get to sleep immediately whenever I get a chance to sleep with a newborn. My husband uses them too! Tracy is a great

I can not say enough about the Seattle HypnoBirthing and working with Tracy. My husband and I had private sessions with her and it gave us the confidence going into the birth of our son that we had a set of tools that we could rely on. Ultimately it's about getting in touch with your body and removing the element of fear. Tracy did a wonderful job of constantly presenting us with options so that we could choose what was right for us. Regardless of your plan for your birth, or lack there of, I think the coaching and advice that this practice arms you with is invaluable. Whether you're

Wasn't my cup of tea:
- instructor would promise resources in class and you would have to follow-up with her to actually receive it (I didn't receive the survey request that they were supposed to send to their institution)
- the resources provided were okay at best
- feels like they want you to purchase additional services
- I used some of their information after the birth

Advice: focus on classes that teach you about how to care for a newborn. If you want to learn about hynobirthing check out library books and other online tools/resources.

Without Kira, I truly don't believe I would've been able to attain the birth of my dreams. Everything about hypnobirthing, from the breathing techniques, to the hypnosis component, to the development of a new philosophy of birth helped my partner and me to feel empowered, informed, confident and EXCITED about the birth of our son. I was able to achieve the natural delivery I had hoped for, without an epidural, and credit this to everything I absorbed in my 6 weeks with Kira. The key is to PRACTICE, be open to new learning and ideas, and TRUST your body. Thank you, Seattle Hypnobirthing

I took the Hypnobirthing class this winter with Kira. Even my husband enjoyed it, which is a lot to say when the class is at 9:30am on Saturday mornings. Coming out of class I was confident and looking forward to the birth of our son. The breathing and relaxation techniques were helpful in both preparing and for the birth itself. My husband learned how to be an active partner in the labor. The class helped us understand the process, be informed about the pros and cons of medical interventions, and communicate successfully with the hospital staff. We had a doula, but because of the class, I felt

I attended HypnoBirthing after a recommendation from my Midwife. I have always had medical based phobias and I was hoping to get a sense of relaxation through attending class. I was more than pleased with the class. For me, it was necessary that I take the techniques seriously and practice as much as possible to try and keep my out of hospital birth a reality. Kira is amazing and I would recommend this class to anyone who is looking for a natural birth experience or anyone with anxiety around birth.

I also attended a private session with Kira to work on my phobias and she is even more amazing

My husband and I had the pleasure of taking hypnobirthing classes from Kira at Seattle Hypnobirthing recently. It was truly a great experience for us!

We wanted to approach our second time through this from a different angle, which included being more prepared for the labor and delivery, hiring a doula and making sure to be better advocates for ourselves and our birth preferences.

This class gave us the skills with which to tackle all of the above. We ended up feeling much more prepared, empowered and much less nervous to greet this experience than we had with our first birth.

My husband and I are soon-to-be, first time parents to twins and that exciting news introduced a lot of questions and fear-mongering from the medical community regarding birthing multiples. Fortunately for us, we were introduced to Hypnobirthing by our doula friend and a beautiful thing transpired. After researching multiple therapists, we decided that Seattle Hypnobirthing felt like home. Not only are Kira and Tracy, the therapists, lovely and amazing, they are both mothers to twins. Talk about kismet! After the completion of our 5-week course, we are so in tune with our "bump"

A friend of mine who had taken Kira's class and went on to have the all natural birth she had planned, wholeheartedly recommended that I take the Seattle Hypnobirthing class. As a first time mother, I knew I wanted to take some sort of birthing class, but didn't really know where to start.

I am not the type of person who is all about being "natural" or crying/going into a major depression if medical intervention becomes necessary during the birthing process. I didn't really know what to expect from the class, but since I trusted my friend, I decided to sign up and

Let's just say that I'm probably a typical first time(soon to be) dad, and I had no clue what this whole class was about. My wife "dragged" me there, and I've heard horror stories from friends about how painful baby classes are. Hypnobirthing sounds like some hippie thing you would do in a sweat lodge and I was not optimistic. That being said, i went with an open mind, just not expecting much.

Well, I was entirely wrong. Not only did I learn a huge amount, but I feel 100% prepared for the birth of my daughter. The beauty of the class is that it makes things so simple

Kira was absolutely amazing for our hypnobirthing class! We felt like every moment we spent in the class was worthwhile and would recommend it to everyone, even for a second baby. We actually wish we had more classes to go to. We had signed up for another class and were taking it at the same time as the hypnobirthing class, but we ended up canceling our other class because we were getting so much more out of this one. The class focuses on visualization and breathing and specific strategies for working through the labor and delivery process. Eliminating fear and focusing your energy on the
