I have had a couple of aches/pains that have been on going for a while now and orthopedic specialist has been nothing but amazing to me. The staff is so kind and polite. They care about you. I have also used their physical therapy side too. The physical therapy through them is the best. They care so much about you and how you are doing and if you’re progressing within your exercises. They also have you fill out a rating sheet about every 3 weeks into your physical therapy session(s) to see

Let me start by saying the physical therapy I received was wonderful. Randy worked magic on my shoulders and neck, giving me hope of a "normal" life. He is incredibly professional and explained everything in a clear and friendly manner. My issue is with billing. When I started physical therapy I was told I had a small copay which I paid every visit until their credit card software went down. Then I was told they would just bill me for my visits until their software was fixed. This place is a joke in my experience. Office doesn’t have anything together. I went for pain and rest diagnosed with carpal tunnel treated first with Therapy and splints which was fine it didn’t help with one on my hand so I ended up having to have surgery. I was not told anything prior about the surgery as far as recovery time what to expect after surgery or anything. So I called and I asked the office repeatedly how long did I need to be out for surgery so I could let my manager know his nurse Jackie told me I can go back to work in 1 to 2 days so that is what I told my manager. I have been going to Dr Downs for many years. He is an excellent orthopedic doctor. I see Andrew Cressman who is a PA in Dr Downs' office now. He is also an excellent PA.
I would highly recommend either one of these doctors - they are both excellent. They both have a great bedside manner and are insightful.
