The worst experience I’ve had at a hospital. My doctor sent me there, suggesting a cat scan and everything because she felt that I was having appendix issues. First thing I was greeted with was a dark haired lady in glasses and a yellow sweater who was very, very rude. She seemed to brush off my pain and didn’t seem happy when I asked to go through the E.R. At that point. I waited about an hour and a half when a few other patients in the waiting room got called back. They had said they had been there since 2:00pm.. it was almost 9pm. My husband called McLaren, who treated me with urgency, concern

I came into your emergency room per my doctor because I have COVID pneumonia. I entered with a pulse ox of 87 but because no one on your staff recorded that number I am unable to receive oxygen at home because the insurance has to see a recorded number in medical care facility to cover it. At rest my oxygen levels are 90 and when I cough which is all the time or move my levels drop below 90. I know that I decided not to get the vaccine, but I pay for my insurance and have medical coverage. I should not be treated differently because I didn’t get the vaccine. But here I sit at home with low oxygen

Came to be seen for respiratory issues and was handled in a fair, timely manner by the whole Staff. Got the needed treatment and information on my condition. I followed up the next day with the appointment the Hospital Staff made on my behalf and things are going good thus far. Thank you to everyone at Lake Huron Hospital for their attention to my needs.

Waited 3.5 hours in the er waiting room. Then they took a person on before us. She seamed just fine just had covid. I was sent there by 3 dr. My foot dr, dr zafar and dr hussain. I had a blood sore on my right foot. I am diabetic and on hemo-dialysis. All they did after 6 hours all together was just look at it. Thats it just look. Not really touch it, no blood work just 3 x-rays. Was very disappointed with my er visit. The help was really nice. Did not think the dr was very thorough. Sent home with kelflex.

Terrible experience. Only needed a doctors order for monoclonal antibody therapy. Left me in a chair by the emergency room door for an hour and a half. Rudely told my husband he could not wait with me because he had been exposed to Covid. (While I’m sitting there WITH Covid). The nurse who finally took me to a room told me “I’m A nurse but I’m not YOUR nurse. 2 hours in a freezing room with no blanket or pillow. All this just for a doctors order.

They were ok with me, except when I was having a hard time and the Dr told me I could have something for pain if I was nicer to the nurse, and I really didn't like his sarcasm of telling me he would pray for me,I take my love for Jesus seriously, I ended up leaving at that point. But the care of the staff was great. Many kind people

Happy to reply.
Lake Huron medical center is the first hospital that made me feel very comfortable.
Each and every employee know matter what there were doing were very organized, caring and professional.
Letting you know what was happening and coming back frequently to check on me to see if I was doing ok or if l needed anything.
I wasn't just brought back put in room left wondering what was happening.
That is huge in my heart.
Thank You so much for your well organized, caring Hospital.
Thank You to each and every one of you ❤️.
May you and your families be blessed.
Sincerely
Sharon

A few days ago my doctor told me to go to the ER instead of coming in. I went and was called back with in 10 minutes of arriving and had an X-ray, CT scan and IV put in with in an hour. They were also very thorough, with great bedside manner. If anyone in my family ever needs ER services again we will be back.
Six months ago I went to another local hospitals ER and sat for 3 hours to get stitches.

My mother was recently a patient on the third floor. All of the staff and the doctors were wonderful and compassionate. We have had poor experiences at a different area hospital and decided to try out Lake Huron Medical center this time. We are so glad we did! I wanted to recognize a really great RN she had named Raymond. He was kind, helpful and professional and took time out of his schedule to answer all of our questions. Thank you so much!
