M & W Auto Repair is a small, locally owned, family run business owned by Mike & Wanda Marsh in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. We are both life-long Oak Ridger's who love to support the community and provide an honest service to the people in Oak Ridge and surrounding area. Since 1989 we have proven to be a trustworthy full service repair shop and have won multiple awards.
Sometimes it is the simple repairs that prevent the major repairs from happening. Don't delay in bringing in your vehicle to keep it running at peak performance. We will also be looking for signs of other damage possibly saving your car from being stranded on the side of a road. Our technicians have many years experience and we will have you serviced quickly and fast!
All cars in the United States since 1996 feature a built in engine control computer. Using advanced tools and training our technicians can communicate with your vehicle and check processors, sensors, microchips, emissions, and more. Our technicians are able to look at many different systems in order to diagnose problems within your car.
Brakes are a very important component on your vehicle. Brakes use friction to slow you down and stop. Many different factors contribute to the lifetime of your brakes including: where you drive, how you drive, how often you drive, and the type of your vehicle. Our technicians recommend you get your brakes checked about every six months (but could be more often if you drive mostly in the city).
Cold air is generated by the A/C system in your car. This system usually takes hot air and removes hot gases during a multistep process. Our technicians can perform an A/C performance check and a cooling system check to determine the problem with your system. We are able to check Freon levels, check for leaks within your cooling system, check the evaporator, vents, compressor, radiator, and charge the Freon.

This review is way overdue! I want to say that this has been the BEST car repair shop I have ever used. Mike and Wanda are exceptional and they did a wonderful job on my Nissan Maxima getting it in and out on time! I have to say, with me being a college student and not having time to travel back and forth to the shop Mike and Wanda were very understanding and patient with me and my family on these repairs. I will be using them for several other things I need but for everything they have done thus far is unbelievable! Thank you Mike and Wanda and I will be seeing you all soon!☺️ Do not take

I am very thankful and appreciative to M&W (Mr. Mike and Mrs. Wanda and their great crew). They found the problem and repaired my car. I previously had taken it to a repair shop in Knoxville that supposedly "fixed it" but did not. My only regret is that I didn't take it to M&W FIRST! I highly recommend!!!

Very friendly service! They inspected a vehicle that I was considering buying. They fit me in on short notice, and did a thorough job with the inspection and had a detailed list for me to bring back to the car lot. I would definitely recommend bringing your vehicle here to these honest, caring folks.

Wonderful and honest people. They are no non sense straight up folks. I used to use Chuck's In Oak Ridge, but would never go back after getting my vehicles worked on at M&W. Great prices and service. Always top notch service at very reasonable prices. I own a hot rod shop and have roughed-in A/C, heat, etc on several cars. M&W has always taken over, finished the projects correctly, and have made me and my customers very happy with the final product.
I also take my own vehicles to them when they call for a tool that I don't have or have to be placed on a lift to get the job done.
Mike and Wanda are great people. Their "techs" are real mechanics. They won't just "throw parts at it". They take time to diagnose things properly.
