Cafe Zuppina is a Mediterranean restaurant that has been serving healthy food to Lakeland for over a decade. Owner duo, Berna and Erkan Nar founded the restaurant in order to bring their Turkish culture to the city. Every day they shop locally for fresh ingredients to provide the best quality dishes possible to their customers. In 2019, they opened a market next door that features fresh to-go items, pastries, coffee, and more. It brings an unexpected cultural blend right to the heart of Lakeland.

Delicious!!!! Really the whole review can be said in that one word! Madison was terrific and answered all my questions and took excellent care of me.
The veggie platter was generous enough for 2+ and had great variety of warm and cold veggies, smooth yummy hummus and lovely zucchini patty!
The pastries were impressive! Hats off to the in house Pastry Chef!
Cute place, clean and very pleasant.
The Market had a variety of Turkish & Mediterranean spices, teas and ingredients- Very Tempting.

I wasn’t going to give our meals a rating or review but due to what we experienced, which wasn't very good, I decided to do so. It was years that we had a meal here and I remember it wasn’t too bad…..Nothing like we experienced recently. We were actually looking forward to going and having a nice meal. Sad to say it was a big disappointment.
We ordered four meals, two salmons and two of lamb chops. All four meals were room temperature, chewy and dry. They all tasted like they had been prepared earlier and sitting around for awhile. They were served with Brussels sprouts, which were also

Excellent restaurant, despite the misspelling of the word, "Restaurant " on their web site. May get a little confused when you pull. In the building that use to house the Cafe Zuppina is closed because the restaurant is in the adjacent building where the market is located. We took a go order. The young red colored hair who said she was in school studying to be a graphic artist, did a superb job in taking my order and while I was waiting, engaged me in a delightful conversation. The food was wonderful...my wife, Vegan, thoroughly enjoyed her dish. My gyro meat was stacked up high and simply delicious

A nice break from the outside world with a bit of a European cafe flair. The food came out quick and smelling great. The staff are very personable the lunch entrees are filling which is unfortunate since the desserts look delicious. The coffee appears to be made in-house, as I'm not a coffee drinker I can only assume by the number of people ordering that it is good. This would definitely make a good brunch spot. And there is a small grocery store attached to meet your at home cafe needs.

Lovely space, spotless and welcoming with comfortable tables in the market area. Food was fresh, the brussels were delicious, the veggies were inviting but the service is questionable. Our lunch bill for two with water was $53.00 and we were serviced in take away containers at the table. On what planet is this service acceptable? You would think lunch could be served on plates instead of out of plastic. Shame on you. The food was good but with that service we will not be back.

Love this place!!!! Amazing food every time! Lovely upscale desserts that look like works of art...and wonderful pistachio coffee and Lavender slushees!! It is a bit pricey but portions are large and the small store has many take away options!! Please visit and let your tastebuds escape to the other side of the world! You won't be disappointed!

We've been visiting this place for quite some time and it is beyond amazing! It is the only place that really reminds me and my wife of our times in Europe! It has that vibe, that unique feeling that only traveling to Europe can provide. The food especially can't be any better, the freshness and the flavors are so exquisite and satisfying! Everything we have tasted there is a manifest of their commitment and incredible effort to please their clients. Their pastries and desserts are one of their most stellar offerings, I have not seen such amazingly artistic desserts here in Florida anywhere

This is one of my top 2 restaurants in the Tampa Bay Central Florida area. The quality of the food is outstanding. They recently open a market and a copy shop and I have to say, the quality remains the same. I don't know what to tell you. If you are looking for the healthy Mediterranean food experience, this is it! I can't say enough.
As a photographer is also a delight to come here.

What a fabulous hidden gem right in central Florida. Lakeland is a quiet little city located smack dab in the dead centre of Florida, and this little restaurant could possibly put it on the map. We had to take all of our food to go due to the cover 19 quarantine. But despite that our food was hot and fresh, The portions are so large that I can make three meals out of it and the staff was super kind. They were all conscientious of the current situation and wearing masks when I entered the business to pick up my order. It wasn't ready so they offered to bring it out to the vehicle once it was

I was in town for an event and this restaurant was suggested to me when I asked for a place with plenty of vegetarian options. I called ahead (1 week) to ask about seating since there was going to be 5 people in my party. I was assured we could sit on the patio and that there would be plenty of room and a good atmosphere.
When we arrived I told the woman who greeted us I called ahead and she didn't know what I was talking about. I had to explain we wanted to sit on the patio so she said to give her a few minutes and she'd let us sit back there. The outside was nice. The weather was nice

My third visit to this place has show improvement not just the cuisine also the creativity. Their menu also improved. I like my beef Wellington. It is not the English version but with shredded beef inside. The outside pastry crust was done perfectly. I alway like the side of the fish. It is tasty.
The only thing they need to improve is to ventilating the kitchen food smell. Every time I walk in my cloth is all smell like food.
