Services
Stores - We sell parts online! In addition to receiving damaged or obsolete electronics for recycling, we also receive large volumes of reusable material. Reusing electronics saves 5-20 times more energy than recycling alone. After any personal data is destroyed, we sell used electronics and refurbished computers on our mclean-surplus eBay store.

Love these guys. When we downsized and moved they carried my old TV out of my car for recycling and I was able to drop off my old printer and smaller electronic items. Way better that some parts or metal from these devices can be reused rather than ending up in a landfill or burned in the ALexandria wast to energy plant.

I've used this business several times for hard drive destruction and electronic recycling. Each time they have found a new way to impress me. The service is always impeccable. I've interacted with people there from each level all the way up to the owner. It's very impressive that each person truly cares about the customer experience. I can tell that they take pride in what they do and care about the individual customer.

I've donated here twice in the last 12 months and each time has been no fuss, no stress, and quick. They took an old 19" CRT television that I had to pay for since it contains toxic chemicals they must specially dispose of, and a box of old computer components, including a 12-year old laptop. They did tell me the hard drive would be securely wiped, though I have no way to confirm this and just implicitly sort of trust them. I will be donating here again when the time comes.
