The gentle insertion of tiny thread-like needles in specific acupoints near the surface of the body that influence blood and oxygen circulation, nervous system function and organ function. Acupuncture is one of the main treatment modalities in Chinese medicine and requires specific knowledge in anatomy, physiology and Traditional Chinese Medical Theory.

I first came to East Wind Acupuncture at the age of 36 after my husband and I had tried unsuccessfully to have a baby for the past four years. I finally accepted a diagnosis of infertility, and was told by specialists that the causes may include advanced maternal age, elevated FSH levels, and swollen fallopian tubes based on multiple test results.

Very nice place. Jessica was very nice but didn't have the knowledge and techniques. My pain level remained the same. I have had many massages so I feel I can be a judge of her knowledge of massage and releasing tension points. I wouldn't return because for the cost I don't think she has enough experience

Huge shout out to Mark Zaranski !!
2 weeks ago I fractured my right upper ribs and sprained my ankle while trying to catch my dog.
Mark said he'd have me healed up in 2 weeks. My first session was the 21st. I finally followed doctor's orders completely. (Except for slowing down) Today on Jan 2nd I am operating at 95% !!!
Honestly, I thought I was going to be miserable for a month and possibly longer because I've worked full tilt the whole time. I am so thankful for his skills and friendship!!

My knee pain was getting so bad that it was interfering with my work and my ability to walk at times. East Wind was recommended by several friends and I was not disappointed. The first thing that was very important in my decision was their explanation between Chinese medicine and Western medicine. Western medicine treats the symptoms, whereas Chinese medicine treats the body so that it can heal itself. This woke me up about the differences.

Great place. I did accupuncture here and loved it. Laura and Mark are very knowledgeable and kind. They are great with their customers and gentle with the needles. I recommend this place to everyone. I worked with Jacob, Shea, and Sean and all of them were very professional, intelligent, and funny. I will be back there and I recommend it to all. Accupunture, cupping, massage, etc. These folks have a great business and enjoy what they do.

I am a current patient at east winds, for going on three months now. I absolutely love the staff, they are all very amazing! I was nervous at first with the needles but after the 3-4 treatment I was much more relaxed and feeling the effects. My mom is also now a patient at east winds and I highly recommend it to anyone with stress, anxiety, depression, pain, wacked hormones, I have all of it and accupunture along with diet change and easy exercises has really made my life so much better. It's great to be getting back to who I once was. Thank you all for all you do! Keep up the great work.
