Dr. Paz is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon specializing in Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
Dr. Carlos Paz is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon. He received his bachelors of science degree from Yale and both his MD and PhD degrees from Harvard.
Following an internship in General Surgery at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), Dr. Paz completed residency in dermatology at the University of Chicago, and then pursued specialized training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, lasers, and cosmetic surgery in Miami, Florida.

Vivian co-founded the practice with her husband, Dr. Paz in 2013. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University and a Juris Doctorate degree from UC Berkeley School of Law. She oversees compliance, business relations, human resources, and philanthropy for the practice.
Outside of the office, Vivian serves on the board of directors of the Central Valley Community Foundation and is the Board President of Art Americas, a Latino Cultural Arts Center in Fresno.In 2018, Vivian was named as one of the Central Valley's Top 40 Under 40. Rosemary has over 20 year's experience overseeing a dermatology a dermatology practice.

At Fresno and Visalia Dermatology Specialists we help our cosmetic dermatology patients address a variety of aesthetic concerns, including facial wrinkles, acne, unwanted fat, and hair loss. But one area that has had few nonsurgical options for improvement is the chin. Many people are unhappy with excess fat in their chin area-a problem that can make one look heavier and older than they truly are.
At Paz Dermatology, we are proud to provide a number of general dermatology services to address all of your dermatologic needs. Our professionals are extremely skilled at diagnosing skin, hair, and nail conditions and we are happy to work with our patients to devise treatment plans that take into account particular needs.

My experience was great with the provider. He couldn't have been better. He was knowledgeable and accommodating. The office staff is the most unprofessional I had to go through hoops to go through hoops to schedule appointments and get scheduling questions answered. My skin issues have resolved with the providers help but it was a nightmare dealing with office staff

I feel so blessed to be a patient of Dr. Paz of Paz Dermatology. I've received such professional, courteous and compassionate care from the time I call the office for an appointment to when I walk through the door. They are great! My second time seeing him. I am very heat sensitive, the room is small , having to wear mask, 4 people including me in their. Was getting about 6 stitches in my finger and starting to overheat.
They saw it immediately and asked me if I was ok, said no I’m overheating. They immediately made sure I had an ice pack on my chest and laid the chair prone. Kept making sure I was ok. Very impressed with their professionalism, and their niceness!

The staff is unorganized and rude. The NP will not take any time to talk with you or get to know you. I was in for a mole check and she was holding up my arms and gown while I still had new patient paperwork and my phone in my hand. She was SO inconsiderate and uninterested in answering questions. Refused to provide a cream and pushed me to buy $100+ worth of obaji. Staff misplaced my paperwork and didn't know where to direct me up one exiting. Disorganized and rude.

I've always wanted to get my lips done, but was too scared Clarissa highly recommended it and I went for it! She made it the best experience EVER! I LOVE them so much! Clarissa said, next up "Botox" got to admit I was nervous as heck, but Clarissa took great care of me while making me look younger by the minute...Can't wait for what Clarissa has in store for me next time. I would 100% recommend Paz Dermatology! Dr. Paz and his PA Gabriel Zapata are a very kind and passionate team always wanting to help their patients. I have been to 3-4 different dermatologists in the Fresno area, but none have helped me as much as Paz Dermatology has. The staff is very friendly and always smiling! My skin has improved so much within a year and it’s all thanks to Paz Dermatology.

I see P.A. Zapata and he has been very helpful in this whole debacle my skin has me in right now. He listened to what I wanted to achieve with my skin. I appreciate his attentiveness with my skin worries because I've been to another dermatologist in Visalia and he was so rude. I walked out and never came back. If your customer service is crap then I'm not going back. Period. But here with Dr. Paz and P.A. Zapata I feel welcomed and heard. I can see improvement in my skin and this is all thanks to Zapata! Go here if you want to make serious positive changes to you skin!! I highly recommend

I had a great experience all three times! Dr. Paz took care of me the first time and the second time was Gabe and a woman Which I forgot her name. However they all did a wonderful job and I was very happy with results!! They went above and beyond to ensure I look and feel great! I would definitely recommend Dr. Paz to my family and friends!

Staff is friendly and appointments are prompt. My biggest reservation is multiple experiences I've had in getting a call back when I leave a message. I have also had trouble talking to someone when it comes to filling a prescription and coordinating with the pharmacy. Patient care practices are good but their follow up is lacking and leaves much to be desired.

I had a mohs procedure with Dr Paz and it has been a great through the whole process, and there is hardly even a scar. The procedure was done on my forehead in my hairline and seriously its not even noticeable, my hair is still growing back, but it was all in all a great experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was referred to this practice for a suspicious skin condition on my nose. I have past history of skin cancer and had to insist on the advanced practice provider doing a biopsy. I waited 6 weeks for my follow up and liquid nitrogen was applied. The pathology result was ready days after the biopsy. I was out two co-pays for my office visits, waited a combined 1.5 hours to be seen, and learned from pathology report that not enough skin was submitted as an adequate sample.
I'll self-refer elsewhere and strongly encourage others to do the same. Poor service all around.

When you're having troubles with your skin, you want to feel confident with the people you turn to for help. Rude staff, it was a "just give me your money and you'll be called when we call you" type of experience.
I was in the exam room and only spoke with a nurse, not the doc.
I was showing her my concerns, asking questions, and it was fairly frustrating talking with that nurse because she didn't answer my questions and kept going in circles, it felt like I knew more about acne than a certified nurse.
