I'm updating my review -- because Hong Kong really does knock it out of the park. This has become my only go-to Chinese spot. The meats are always fresh and high quality, the service is friendly, and from start to finish the food is always delicious. You get a really great deal for the Family Order -- pick four from their list for $23.99 and you can easily feed a family of four (often for a couple days).
On my last visit, we sampled the Orange Chicken, Beef with Broccoli, General Tso's, Vegetable Lo Mein, Crab Rangoon and Egg Drop Soup. All delicious from start to finish. Even the rice

Not the same food from 10 years ago. They don't put any vegetables in their fried rice, their chicken is boiled separately and thrown into the food. Nothing is seasoned. It's as if a white man from Williamsburg tried to make fried rice with no idea what a recipe is. Sadly, I will never being myself to go back.

It's really hard to find good chinese restaurants here, but I think finlly I found the one I want to go back!
You can order food online or call them before you pick up your food. I picked up my stuff 20min after I called them.
Their food was really good and tasted really fresh. Also they give you a good amount of food. It's worth trying this place if you want authentic (somewhat americanized) Chinese food.

Ordered from this place by mistake. Thought I ord. From oyster point. When I tried 2 cancel the lady insisted I come. Hey I can understand them not wanting to waste an order. Like most of the Chinese places in Hampton roads it was not really good. Shrimp fried rice had little flavor with almost white rice. Whatever happened to brown rice Chinese restaurants used 2 always have. The bone in spare ribs were wet and not the crisp, or sweet in flavor that I was looking for. Staff was friendly.

Finding good Chinese food in this area can be quite a challenge. Whenever I'm in D.C. I make a point of running through Chinatown, and I've become spoiled for more than adequate eats.
I've done a few takeout runs through here, and I'm pleased to report that it's certainly more than adequate. The rice is done right (fluffy and sticky), and the Crab Rangoon is great. You get plenty of bang for your buck: quality and quantity. I'm a fan.
I've not yet had the opportunity to visit Asia and have authentic Chinese food. I've only ever had the Americanized version

This might be the best Chinese take out that I've had since being in Hampton Roads! Service is always good as well. Some places try to rush you into ordering. Food is prepared fresh of course, and they offer large portions. Food is excellently seasoned as well! Chicken with broccoli has always been on point. They even have Chinese donuts!!! It's located in a little shopping center off of J Clyde Morris Blvd behind Burger King. Kinda hard to find with GPS. Give them a try!!

Newport News is littered with strip malls, each with a Chinese restaurant. Hong Kong is close to my house, and I had not eaten Chinese food in quite some time. I looked at the other reviews and gave it a shot.
Definitely will go back again.
The chicken fried rice is short on vegetables, but has excellent chicken and a great taste. I took the recommendation for the General Tso's and will likely get it again. It wasn't too sweet the way that some places do (too much hunan sauce), and wasn't overly spicy although I did not ask for it to be.
A great find amongst the clutter of Chinese
