At Absolute Balance our approach is grounded in the classical Pilates technique with a strong anatomical foundation. We start with the fundamental building blocks to strengthen and lengthen what is necessary to be successful in the work.

Services
Beginner mat is a well-rounded workout including the fundamental building blocks and beginner mat Pilates exercises. By building on proper breathing mechanics, and increasing strength and flexibility, one will gain the appropriate tools to progress in their Pilates journey. Beginner/Intermediate mat is a safe way for the beginner mat client to progress into the Intermediate mat work by increasing the amount of exercises and ow.
Studio owner Lori Payne earned her Pilates teaching certification through Colleen Glenn in Dallas, Texas in 2002. She then obtained her national certification through the National Pilates Certification Program in 2006. Lori has continued her quest for a deeper understanding of the Pilates method by completing the three year Masters Teaching certification in 2010 and her Advanced Teacher Training Program at The Pilates Center of Boulder in 2013.
At Absolute Balance we offer Small Group format instead of classes. We believe this provides more accountability for both the client and the teacher and allows us to tailor the session to the needs of the group. Small Groups will be considered in the Private category. Therefore, communication will take place directly between the client and the teacher regarding joining a specific group, canceling a session or any other changes.
All of our instructors are comprehensively trained to use all of the available Pilates equipment that we have in the studio. In a Private lesson you will receive one-on-one attention. Your session will be tailored to meet your particular needs to achieve your goals at your tness level.

We believe that Pilates is the best exercise that you can do for your spine and its not because we own a Pilates studio. Pilates provides essential foundational exercises for healthy spinal mobility and core strength. Lori Payne and Jennifer Kerr specialize in bridging the gap between traditional physical therapy and classical Pilates by finding the source of the dysfunction rather than simply looking at the symptoms of the injured part.
