Now let me tell you a little about us. Most of us get behind on bills from time to time. Life can throw a lot of things your way: Illness, loss of employment, market instability, your car breaks down, someone you love needs help. Many times we try to deal with it alone, yet sink further into debt. But, you have a choice.
You can stop the creditor calls, the garnished wages, the foreclosures and repossessions. And, in most cases, you can still keep your house and your car. The Federal Government provides qualified individuals an opportunity for a new beginning through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. We can guide you through this process and help you get control of your life again.

A Chapter 13 Bankruptcy is used most often when you have things that you need to pay for (mortgage, cars, equipment) but you just cannot keep up with the current payments or you got behind at some point and just cannot catch up. A chapter 13 often lets you pay for the items you want to keep while still being able to get rid of (discharge) some or all of your unsecured debt.
A Chapter 7 Bankruptcy can be used to get rid of (discharge) unsecured debt while keeping items such as cars or your home for which you are able to continue payment. Alternatively, if you realize a home or car is too expensive for your budget, a chapter 7 can be used to return the property to the creditor and relieve you of liability for any deficiency.

I recently connected with Melissa after hiring another attorney who failed to meet my needs. Melissa and her staff made me feel comfortable, she explains things so that you understand them. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable and a "go getter" when it comes to getting the job done. I am so grateful that I crossed paths with her, she has helped me have a fresh start. I highly recommend Melissa.
