Restoration Report

Your furniture can be restored to its original beauty and comfort. Once the springs, padding and even the frame have been restored, it can be carefully upholstered. Woodwork can be re-furbished with steel wool and Danish oil or we can arrange to have it fully stripped and re-finished. Fabric restoration is the process of refurbishing fabric items after they have been affected by fire, smoke, water, or mold.

I got a chair redone awhile ago. I didn't know I should bring my own fabric but he let me choose from what he had and was so nice about it. The chair turned out beautifully. I think about how nice of a job he did every time a look at the chair. It was a family heirloom and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out, even many years later.

When my fiancee and I bought a house together, neither of us had living room furniture worth moving. She scoped out various estate sales and found a pair of American Empire era sofas for a pittance. We brought them to Best Upholstery to be reupholstered.

I honestly don't have enough superlatives to describe the craftsmanship that went into this project. The sofas came back nothing short of amazing.

The whole process was really great. We were walked through how much labor would cost and allowed to browser through fabric samples until we found one that that went well with the our other furniture

I had Luis reupholster my very large sectional sofa and he did an absolutely horrible job. I took back cushions that needed to be redone and (fairly certain that he didn't replace the foam, that I paid for) he really didn't fix anything. I now need to hire someone else to redo many of the cushions.

Luis recovered 2 very old and well loved, aka trashed, chairs. I knew they were quality furniture but 80 years and 3 generations of use take a toll. Best Upholstery did a fantastic job, not cheap but well worth the money.

We decided to upholster a wing chair we had in the family for generations. We found Mr. Luis and liked what he said on his website. We visited him at his office and selected a fabric. We forgot to bring an accompanying foot rest and he took it the next day saying he would upholster with the chair at no charge. We were happy that he picked our chair up, so we didn't have to drive it. We paid for it on a Saturday and got it back delivered several days later, on a Thursday in time for my birthday. I recently had an antique chair reupholstered by Luis and his team. The chair had previously been shredded by my cat and really appeared hopeless. When I arrived at the shop to pick up the chair it was proudly displayed in their window. It looks like a brand new chair except better!
