Whenever I'd go to the doctor for check ups, they would say I was in good health. My blood pressure was great, my weight was usually in the healthy range, and I didn't have any glaring issues. So, no I didn't have any glaring issues, and I was generally in good health, but definitely not in optimal health.
I attribute the beginning of my health journey, to a time in college where my weight got to the point that I was physically uncomfortable in my body. I had been mentally uncomfortable in my skin for a long time (thank you societal ideas of what women should look like). But being physically uncomfortable, was new and enough motivation for me to make some changes to my eating habits.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 90% of all illness is directly related to stress. Every substance that exists has its own vibrational frequency. When your body is imbalanced, it may not recognize the frequencies of various substances. This ultimately causes stress on the body.
The more exposure we have to stressing energies, from foods, pollens, danders, dusts, molds, chemicals, etc., the more we store these stressing energies in our cells which leads to homeostatic imbalances. This can lead to a multitude of health challenges. These discordant energies are simply referred to as stressors.

It sounds so simple, and yet most people are chronically dehydrated. Water does more for us than most people realize, including give us energy. As a starting point, take your weight in pounds and divide that number by two. This is how many ounces you should be drinking every day; more if you workout or it's hot.
