Our 5year old is currently taking classes and has learned a lot in just a few sessions. He is learning respect and control while having fun doing it. While it took us a few sessions for him to warm up, the leadership team was extra patient and let him adjust at his own pace and encouraged him along the way. He talks about what he has learned outside of class and it had helped create a language we, as parents, can use to reinforce respecting others in everyday life. Student here, I've been going here for 5 years and I can't express enough how much attending this do jang has helped me. Sure, learning how to do kicks and punches and forms looks pretty cool, but going here taught me so much more than just that; within months of enrolling at Moohan I was already displaying better self-control (a particularly difficult task for a 9 year old with ADHD). These masters also have infinite patience and provide an appropriate challenge according to the individual student, whether they are just starting out or they've been going here for years.
