Rock Solid Karate was originally founded in January of 2001. We are located in a new 8400 square foot facility in Gainesville, GA. The style of martial arts we teach here is a Korean art form called Tang Soo Do. We are a part of a worldwide martial association called the World Tang Soo Do Association.
We have classes for all ages and ranks. We have a Tiny Tigers program that is for ages 3.5-5.5. We have a youth program that is ages 6-12. And we have a flourishing adult program for ages 13 and above. Rock Solid Karate is a family martial arts center. If you want a creative idea for an amazing stress free birthday party for your child than choose Rock Solid Karate in Gainesville, GA. Our Birthday Parties are held on Saturday afternoons. Your child's birthday party will be supervised by one of our Black Belt Instructors. The Instructor will take care of everything including check in, game supervision and activities, and have tables set up for your refreshments.

I'm not a student, I teach at another dojo in the same town. I do have a couple of Rock Solid's blackbelts who train part time with me and I visited to watch them test today.
The students were all very respectful and also had great technique and could defend themselves quite well.
Afterwards, I met the testing board, and the instructors were welcoming, gracious, and genuinely care for the students.

Best decision we have ever made for our family. Yes, ALL of us. 2 kids, my wife and myself. It is a COMMITMENT, but we’ll worth it. it is easy to quit but we told our children when we started, “We are ALL in!” Now my wife and I are Black Belts and our children are preparing to test for their Black Belts. Their self confidence and self worth is through the roof and our health is the best it has ever been - Not to mention the GREAT people we have met and now consider part of our extended family, Our “Karate Family”.

Our entire family has trained at Rock Solid Karate for over 4 years. Two daughters, 13 and 10, my husband (48) and myself(49). When we first started, it was to instill respect and discipline in my girls. Turned out to be the best decision we have made as a family-not just for them but for myself and my husband as well. The Sandt’s and Jana Easter/instructor are AMAZING. This is a wonderful program for your kids but is also great for adults.

I absoloutly love this place. I signed up my son to help with his behavior, this place has done far more then that for him. He knows how to work as a team, he shows the instructors respect, he is excited to go each time, he has made friends. You can tell the instructors like what they do and take a general interest in the children

Five stars all day every day. We started going to karate 4 yrs ago. Love the friendships we have made over the years. Rock Solid Karate is AMAZING! We joined as a family...our girls have attended the after school program for years. The owners and instructors are wonderful. They truly care about my girls and have been such a positive influence on all of us! Definitely recommend Rock Solid!

My son attended aftercare here for two years and continues to go so he can earn his black belt. This place is AWESOME! Mr. David was a terrific coach and mentor to the kids at aftercare. I really feel my son's experiences at Rock Solid helped him mature and find greater self control. Working his way through the belts is teaching him the value of putting his best effort into reaching a goal.
The other instructors - Ms. Easter, Mr. Lee and Master Sant really care about the children's success and growth in the martial arts.
We are so lucky to have this amazing resource in Gainesville!

My two children started karate at Rock Solid at ages 3 and 5, and both now have their first degree black belts. SO many rewards... self control, respect, physical fitness, self confidence. Every test, every tournament, brings a huge sense of accomplishment because they really have to work for it. I've found that youth sports can get a little crazy with coaches/parents behaving badly and missing the big picture. What I love about Rock Solid is that the instructors are truly dedicated to each student achieving their best... and there is also a team/family atmosphere among the parents. Everyone

My son started taking karate at Rock Solid Karate when he was 4 years old. We were looking for an activity that would give him exercise until he was old enough for other sports.
It turned out to be so much more! My son is now 12 and has his 2nd degree black belt. He has learned to be a better person through his training...with integrity, self-control, and self-confidence. He is physically fit and continues to enjoy the classes. Because of Rock Solid Karate, friendships have developed that will last a lifetime. It just feels like family.

My son has been taking karate at Rock Solid for over 5 years. He has just tested for his black belt. I feel that he is growing up there. It is not just about the karate but also about respect, discipline, and confidence. We truly love Rock Solid and all the instructors. Words can't say how blessed I am to have Master Sandt, Mr. Lee and Mrs. Easter in our lives. They have helped mold my son into a great child. I've been a student at Rock Solid Karate for over 4 1/2 years and would recommend them wholeheartedly! Originally, I was more interested in introducing my son to karate for the additional benefits of self-control and confidence that it would provide, however, I began to see it as a terrific means of getting/keeping in shape. Who couldn't benefit from that?!
Firstly, the instructors are wonderful. They are warm and guiding. Their teaching styles are a little different, so it's very easy to find one who "meshes" with your way of learning. They are also quite patient

I've been a student at Rock Solid Karate since the summer of 2011. I chose to go with this particular studio after doing a review of the options available in the Hall county area. I wanted a studio that would truly push me to give my all and then some. I didn't want to end up in a "McDojo" where there isn't quality instruction or standards.
