For 50+ years, Poor Farmer's has been providing Miami County with an affordable option for family camping. We offer seasonal camping sites with yearly, monthly, weekly, and nightly rates.
Within the campground is about two miles of creek, a fishing pond, basketball court, playground, heated shower house/restroom, shelters for gathering, a full season of fun activities which includes a spring and fall tractor show/flea market and is home to the Miami County Antique Power Association. For many though, the appeal is in the peace and quiet the country setting provides.

This is a Family Run nugget of Americana in its simplest form. There's plenty to do and you can also do NOTHING at all. Something for everyone and they have special events all the time. And i might add there is always WONDERFUL food to be had via many fixers of fine camp type cuisine. Hey , grab yer camper and golf cart and GET OUT HERE!!!

My husband and I stay at Poor Farmers often. I highly recommend this place, and I’m very picky. Out in the country with gorgeous views, And only 15/20 minutes to Piqua and Troy. The staff is wonderful, very helpful and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. They ARE very pet friendly, (we have two cats and a dog) you just have to clean up after your pets and keep them on a leash. The bathrooms are clean and air-conditioned. The grounds are very well maintained and they have pump out service for a small fee (if you get a site that doesn’t have septic) and RV service and repair. They

I have been a resident at Poor farmers for over a year now and I would like to say that my stay here has been absolutely outstanding. Mike Till, the General manager at Poor farmers has been accommodating in every way since the day I showed up ahead of my reservation. He has assembled an extraordinarily knowledgeable and capeble staff that are both very friendly and professional. Mike, along with his wife Andrea, are always ready to go the extra mile for their customers. And Marty, the service manager, is a know how, "get er done" Man that knows how to fix your problem. The atmosphere

First off I'd like to state that the upset lady that left 1 star needs to find herself a nice mental institution to check herself into.
This is an outstanding family campground that has several family friendly activities throughout the year. The staff is very courteous and willing to help with anything you may need. The service department is very knowledgeable and quite efficient in all of their work. If they don't know what's going on you, the customer will be the first to know. If you think you can get better service from Dave Arbogast or Paul Sherry you are sorely mistaken.

I have been coming to Poor Farmer's my whole life and it is by far my favorite campground! One of my favorite things is that this facility offers a wide variety of options. Along with the campground they have a Parts, Service & Sales department so you can meet all your camping needs in one location and also an L.P. Gas filling station. The staff is amazing and very friendly. They also have a ton of activities during the camping season. Overall it's a great place to bring your family and make some memories.
