We have over 90 sites to choose from, (Most are full hookup!) and for those of you who want to "rough it" we have beautiful, secluded, primitive wooded sites available! We have full restroom facilities, dump station, propane refilling on site, shelter house, playground for the kids, planned activities, carry-in dinners, newly restocked fishing pond and much, much more!
Lazy R Campground is open from mid April to late October. At Lazy R Campground, we invite you to relax in our friendly family atmosphere. Lazy R also has direct access to a portion of the Ohio-Indiana bike path if biking is your thing. Enjoy the fresh air or take a walk thru the woods. Come and chat with your fellow campers and enjoy a friendly game of cornhole or just relax around the campfire!

They lied to us and said we had an electricity
..not..they were going to let us share a generator with another camper..we quickly left. We originally called spoke to gentleman and told him what we wanted. He was kinda rude but figured it was a bad day. Reserved both sites. After 2 weeks I called back spoke to a lady and advised her we haven't received a confirmation on what sites we were on. She said she didn't see anything. Gave her the information and she said it was fine. My husband called two weeks before we were to be there spoke to a man he said he didn't show anything for us. But could

Nothing really special here. Camping spots are way to close. No place for kids to ride their bikes, gravel drives. Playground not very impressive. Not a good place to bring your dog. They don't seem to like dogs here. The long term campers here seem groachy. You can go to a state camp ground for the same price as here. Won't be coming back.

This past year several improvements were put in. There are a few more coming this summer. There's a salt pool that's decent size, a kid's playground (could use some updating), bathrooms, showers, a shelter house, nightly hay rides, and a little pond where we go see turtles. Several times during the summer there are events in the new building that was built. Overall it's a nice quiet campground that is up and coming. The 4 star is for the lack of internet access.

We love camping at the lazy r been there 4 times since we got our new camper in May 2018, the other campers are great they treat you like your a member of the camp not just a weekend camper hope to be able to put our camper there soon, only issue I have ever had is this weekend we booked the wrong days when I booked our reservation I said… 6,7,8th meaning we would be leaving today but didn't catch that we got charged for 3 nights and not just 2 , the owner would not refund or even move the money to the next time we was planning on coming up but other wise lady r is great
