Terrible experience.
Stayed in a hotel for the weekend. Arranged for flowers to be delivered to the front desk so they could take them to the room, so when we checked in we would have some lovely flowers for Mothers Day.
They didn't have any of the flowers advertised in the pictures, so they called me. On my speaker phone in the car, on our way to the hotel, and told me "US" that they would be making an arrangement of what they had. So now the surprise is also spoiled.
Checked in, saw the flowers and we both almost laughed.

Worst service ever. I ordered a specific floral arrangement for Mother's Day containing her favorite colors and flowers. My mother received a completely different plant . When I called, the owner of the business told me I didn't understand and they could go pick up the flowers and send me a refund. She stated they didn't have enough staff to call all the people whose orders they were not able to correctly fill. But they apparently had enough staff to go pick up the already delivered flowers. The owner was mean and manipulative because their company could not provide what they said

Wow, what a horrible experience with this florist. I was so excited to send my parents flowers for their 60th anniversary. I called directly to place order. I specifically stated the occasion and what I was looking for. Flowers were delivered timely. However, when I walked in to my parents house and saw the bouquet I was EMBARRASSED and very disappointed. The flowers themselves were pretty but it looked like my 3 year old granddaughter stuffed them in a recycled Dollar Store vase, filled it water, plopped it on the counter and called it good. I sent an email to florist but 3 days later, no response

The flowers were delivered 5 days late even when I received an email saying they were delivered on time. No one contacted me to tell me of the delay. I had to contact the business and ask about the order. Unfortunately, Valentine's Day was missed and I was not offered a refund. I would not recommend Gig Harbor Florist. A more customer-focused mindset would serve this business well.

Well I must say my experience with this shop was very pleasant to say the least. I have used them twice during the past month. Once to send flowers to my mother in a Covid19 infested hospital, and Mary Ann made sure they were delivered, my mother and nurses loved them. Just recently I sent flowers to my wife that is currently in another country across the Pacific Ocean . The arrangement arrived without any difficulty, they are beautiful, my wife ecstatic. In both cases , this shop took the time to demonstrate an interest in my order and personalized it in a positive way . I will use this shop in

I ordered a very specific bouquet for my grandma after grandpa had passed away and I understand having to make modifications but the flowers we received looked NOTHING like what I ordered and 1/3 of the flowers hadn’t even bloomed yet. Not to mention I ordered 3/29 and it took Untill 4/1 to get delivered (the confirmation states next day delivery) I emailed the company more than once for some sort of resolution but they have ignored all attempts. I have attached pictures of what I ordered online and what was received.

Always let the experts here choose the design and amazed by the quality and creativity. The owner is lovely and won't let anything out her door that isn't perfect. Grateful for the delivery service and that there is a local non-chain florist in the area. Not sure why anyone would give less than 5 stars.

I want to first address all the negative reviews: don't call the automated 1-800 number -- make sure you contact the local 253 number! This way you'll actually contact the real shop.
The GHF owners couldn't have been more helpful for me and my husband. We live abroad and so we depended on a florist for a last-minute Mother's Day delivery (due to a prior floral shop's delivery cancelation). GHF was absolutely amazing in their customer service. When I made my order, they got a great sense of what I wanted, budget, delivery time window, and meanwhile they also just made me feel like I wasn't a total

Unacceptable. A scam. My boyfriend spent $200 on flowers to be delivered to my office In Gig Harbor on Valentine’s Day. They never arrived. Especially upsetting as I am in a long distance relationship and this was the only thing I had to look forward to on Valentine’s Day. I emailed the shop and left multiple voicemails and have never heard back from them. I urge you not to buy from them. He thought going with a local company would be better, but looking back now, a 1-800 Flowers -type would have been better. Thank you for ruining the one thing I had to look forward to.

My wife unfortunately ordered flowers from this "business" for Mother's Day. Now the business had the nerve to respond to her review and say it was not accurately written. It absolutely was. I was a witness to it all. My wife was repeatedly screamed at, hung up on and threatened by the owner, Mary. The owner even went as far as to threaten us with "the mafia," which we took as a threat to our physical safety. The owner then tries to say "Call our shop and we can sort this out" which is bogus since we tried multiple times to sort this out with the florist before coming online. We will never call

I have been using FTG in Gig for a few years now, and right now I am hoping my recipients haven't been disappointed as my last. I ordered a dear friend a Thank you arrangement to be delivered. It was to be a sunflowers and other greenery in a vase. What arrived was sunflowers with NO petals and past blooming with a sprig (yes a sprig) of dead "greenery". My friend in all graciousness, thanked me for the "vase" and called FTG and let them know, that she was sure that I would be upset and disappointed in the garbage they sent. It was my mothers birthday and I wanted to do something a little extra special for her day. I decided to have flowers delivered to her work as a surprise. I went online and found 3 florists in the area I chose the one that opened first because I was excited to get them to her. I chose a mid-grade custom arrangement for $65, one Mylar balloon $5 and after delivery fees and taxes and processing fees the total cost came to $92.33. Ouch! But I wanted to make her feel special so I ordered anyway.

Very very disappointed in their service and flowers. The flowers were nothing like what I ordered. Check out the picture above. I ordered online and the lady called to tell me she couldn't deliver until the afternoon but said nothing about that my arrangement would look totally different than what I ordered. I understand not having one of the flowers but the whole arrangement. Don't spend your money here go somewhere else !!!!

100% recommend this florist . I called them the day before Mother's Day and they already had 250 delivered to do ! He said it would get there by closing Mother's Day and it was there before 11am . The flowers were beautiful she said , she was happy with the vase it was even . She liked it so much she is keeping it. She is an interior designer , she is super picky about what she keeps . I wanted to support a local business so I ordered flowers for my wife from this florist. Normally I spend a $100 and get something gorgeous. What she received was ridiculous. 12 calla lilies and some baby's breath shoved (literally shoved) into a tiny vase. Not even a pretty arrangement. It looks as though it was scooped up, jammed in and sent out the door. Shocking! And all this for the mere price of $120. A complete ripoff, the lack of care in the arrangement indicates an absolute disregard for one's profession and customers. Never again!

I ordered a Cheergiver Basket online for a very dear ill friend and upon arrival it was not anything as pictured. Not only did it NOT arrive in a basket, it didn't even have the fall cheerful colors as pictured online. When I called to tell of my disappointment I was "disconnected" and upon calling back received such poor customer service, I will not recommend this florist. The correct thing for the owner to do would have been to deliver an arrangement as I had ordered or else refund my money.

I called directly to have flowers delivered to my moms work for Mother's Day! They said the minimum was 30$ plus a delivery fee of 10.95$. They didn't deliver to the right suite number first off and my mom said the flowers looked like they were just shoved in the vase! She had to rearrange them to look better! The lady who took my order was very nice and helpful but I think next time I'll order from pro flowers. You get way more for the price charged!

I live in LA, and my mother lives in Gig Harbor. So instead of buying flowers online like usual (I get stunning arrangements from FTD and Pro Flowers) my husband and I thought we would support a local business and are we ever sorry that we did! The $80 arrangement sent to my mother was nothing that we asked for, and consisted of tiny purple spray roses and greenery (they looked like flowers you would send to your dying grandmother).
