Terrible treatment center completely awful covid contingency plans almost died in my room heating up from covid and the whole time they where bringing in new clients to a place that had almost 20 positive test plus I am 100% sure a staff member gave it to us knowing she came in contact with covid and still went to work a lady with a growtest power trip I do not recommend this to any one

Here is my honest and unbiased review of Riverplace Counseling Center based out of Anoa, MN. The facilities are very nice and clean, They do a good job of keeping things in working order and in shape and have a phenomenal maintenance guy. The front desk admin assistant is very thorough and if asked for help is dependable and reliable. She has a get it done attitude. The tech staff is overall friendly and helpful with what clients need.
As far as programming goes it could be better and more coordinated. Counselors are given the autonomy to present material and structure their groups as they see

If I could give them 10 stars i would! When I walked in the receptionist was super amazing and very friendly. The lobby is calming and very inviting with a fireplace , TV and coffee or water. Everyone of the staff going in and out of offices never failed to say hello or how are you today. My chem evaluator was so caring and really took the time to know me and my situation. I really felt that they cared very much about my well being and not just trying to drag me into something I didn't need. As I was waiting for my ride home outside a group session got out. There was not one person who did not

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! If you or a loved family member wants to get help THIS ISNT THE PLACE! A loved family member of mine went and was treated HORRIBLY!! He told me about how his councilor was racist and made a racist comment while they were in group. The people do not care about really helping you they told the group they were "their paychecks". I would give this place 0 stars if I could. ALSO they told him they were going to put him in extended care and didn't tell him until the week before he was done that he was not going to be able to go to extended care and that he needed to find another

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. The director’s name is Val and she is a nightmare to say the least. 1. There is no gym equipment like the website says, there is no self defense classes like the website says, there is no bedding....
The women’s treatment isn’t allowed to go to any outside AA meetings, there is no communication between all the staff. The Saturday activities that are promised each week are usually “taken away”. There is a bonfire pit used for therapy activities isn’t allowed to be used anymore. The content is outdated. I could go on and on. I’ve been to over 10 treatment centers

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went to have a CD assessment in Januaryof 2018, and I showed up after calling to tell them I would be 10 minutes late because the roads were bad from snow, did the assessment, and was told they'd send results in the mail or call. After not hearing from them, I called and they have NO RECORD of me being there. They claim I was a "no show" and I was violated on probation. And now have to go back to court. I'm absolutely furious with this company for failing to simply do their job, and I get punished for it. I tried calling and giving them the exact date
