In 2019, Guilty Pleasures Cupcake Bakery opened its first location in East Peoria in the Levee District. In 2015, Guilty Pleasures Cupcake Bakery originated out of the owner's home. Lisa Friebohle and her husband, Drew thoughtfully expanded the bakery from their home to a storefront.

I’ve been delivering cupcakes to some former coworkers for several weeks. These always look amazing and the ones I’ve tasted were great. If you want a large amount go later in the week or place an order. The place is clean and Katrina has been so professional when waiting on me. I’ll continue to support this local biz.

First time visiting to get some Keto cupcakes for a friend. Today was lemon poppyseed. While there, I picked up a milky way for me. OMG!!!! A super moist cupcake with a piece of milky way on top. The frosting was delicious. I will be back. The sweet young lady working today was outstanding!

I have celiac disease and have had a hard time enjoying sweets because I haven’t found any place with good gluten free treats. I went to Guilty Pleasures and I can tell you their gluten free cupcakes are amazing!! I tried a strawberry vanilla one (I think that’s what it is) then the next day I had an apple cider one and a chocolate chip one! Those were the best cupcakes I’ve ever had!! I recommended this place to anyone who has a gluten sensitivity or just wants a good cupcake!

First time I have ever been here. I bought the Mint Chocolate Chip Cupcake and the Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake Cupcake. I am an absolute lover of anything mint chocolate. The Mint chocolate cupcake exceeded my expectations. It had a perfect amount of mint mixed into both the frosting and the cake. The Raspberry Cheesecake one was equally as delicious. Both cupcakes were light and fluffy, and practically melted in my mouth. Plus they were reasonably priced. Since they are homemade I was expecting them to be a little pricey but they weren't. Can't wait to go back. May try the gluten free

I live in Texas but needed a special gift for my elderly mother who lives in assisted living in Central Illinois. I called Guilty Pleasures Cupcake Bakery and was delighted to learn that they delivered! The cupcakes were beautiful and my mom said they are delicious. And the cost was super reasonable. I highly recommend Guilty Pleasures to celebrate any special occasion.

I ordered 2 dozen mini cupcakes and wanted a variety to make the tray look very festive. They were extremely patient with all my questions about each cupcake. The cupcakes were for my sister's birthday and Lisa was very helpful in my wanting something special for that occasion. Looking forward to visiting the shop the next time I am in Peoria.

Attentive, friendly service in a convenient location! The cupcakes were decadent and delicious. I also had a flavored cold brew which was great; I'll get that again next time too.
My gluten-free cupcake was filled with cookie dough and tasted amazing. Bakery has good cross-contamination practices because I didn't get sick later. Thank you! My husband loved his regular chocolate mint cupcake.
