Walking around my hotel early on a holiday weekend looking for a place to get breakfast and stumbled upon this spot. Due to Hurricane Ida they had a limited menu. I got the oatmeal platter to take to my hotel. It came with fresh fruit and toast and sausage for $10. Expectations were low and I ended up enjoying my breakfast!

The coffee was good, but I think I was charged for a flavor that I didn't receive which is no bueno.
Also, I got the salmon bagel and something was missing. I can't tell you what, but it was just okay and I feel like it should have been better. It has Boursin cheese, spinach, everything bagel and smoked salmon so it should have been bomb, but it was just okay.
Part of it could have been the missing ambience. I mean, you order at a counter, like in a cafeteria. There was little of no service, and then you sit at one of five tables. One man had to move because of the table situation

The breakfast was good and the place is clean and tidy, it just felt impersonal. No waitress service and you are called to collect own food when cooked. Serve your own drinks, drink out out plastic glasses and paper cups for coffee and plastic knives and forks to eat with.
You have to guess on entering the Cafe that you seat yourselves, you have to guess that you get your own menu, and you have to guess that you place your order, and you have to guess that you collect your food when it's ready and you guess that it's yours when shouted . Nobody even said hello on entering. Would I go back probably

Milford's on third is filled with the two most lively and lovely ladies, Jacqueline & Inez. I pray they will enjoy many more years at this Hotel because they're so sweet to children and family.
For breakfast, my girlfriend and I ate the "Turkey Scrambler." The biscuit was so soft, so flakey, it melted in your mouth. Great temperature and the quality didn't look rushed. The biscuit ended up falling apart because of how fresh it was, that didn't stop us from using our forks though. Thank you Inez!
Jacqueline, thank you for being kind to the kids who were screaming and giving us the ins and outs

Recently stayed at the Watermark Hotel and discovered Milford's.
Not wanting a sit down breakfast, I decided to give them a try.
Now ill be honest, the food quality reviews almost prevented me from going.
I don't know how you could say their food has no taste unless you're unfortunate enough to be recovering from COVID.
The breakfast sandwich I had the pleasure of eating was hot delicious and filling.
Likewise the cinamon roll was fresh and tasty.
I will eat breakfast at Milford's often.

The hospitality here is so refreshing for a girl from "up north." I stayed in the watermark so I came here for some breakfast eats. The two women I encountered behind the counter were both nice and really helpful.
I got the breakfast platter (I think that's the name) with eggs, sausage, grits and a biscuit. The woman even asked if I wanted salt and pepper on my eggs and to hand her a couple of packets. Usually you just have to add the salt and pepper on after the fact which isn't as good as being cooked into the eggs. That's what I call going a step above. I even witnessed

What a joke. I'm from New York State and have been looking for a decent deli/bagel shop. This was my last hope and man, what a disappointment. The bagel come out of a Pepperidge Farm bag and I watched them microwave precooked bacon for my sandwich. And somehow, it cost me $10. One employee was talking to her friend on the store phone, the other ignored me when I was asking her direct questions about their menu. Don't bother even checking it out.

This place is great. I ordered the Muffuletta! It is absolutely delicious. It is also huge and packed with goodness! Great place for a quick and delicious lunch. There is seating inside, about eight tables, and a few outside tables for seating. They also have breakfast, but I have not tried that yet. Good choice if you are in downtown Baton Rouge.

We had high hopes for this place, after reading some of the reviews and talking to some friends that have been here.
The place is very small. Only eight tables on the inside and two out. They offer counter service and a grab and go refrigerator. We went for breakfast on a Sunday. Breakfast options are limited. Bagels, bagels sandwiches, one wrap and a couple breakfast plates. They also offer fresh baked pastry, which was sold out before we got there. The only gluten free options are the two breakfast plates (one was oatmeal the other eggs) and parfaits.
